Hey were you in Central Park this past Saturday!? What a great day we had out there. Very, very cool. I'll tell you all about it on the Podcast today. Kinda "The Day of the Kiss".

If you were out there you know what I'm talkin' about. This cool lady named Suzie brought chocolate kisses out to the park for the hundreds of people who had gathered to hang with me this weekend. Damn! I love this town!
Yeah, and today there is another cool installment of "I Love the Company". Lotsa great music... some of it from around the Podsafe Music Network, and most of it from the friends and colleagues around my life.
Check it out by clicking on this logo.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.
This weekend's musical guests are: David Abbinanti, Cassandra Kubinski and Sam Leopold.
Click on their photos to visit their websites, find out more about them and how to get their music.

Okay, go listen to the show. I'll tell you all about this weekend. Briefly... the heat-wave had broken and "The Hill" was filled with amazing people all afternoon. At first I was kinda sorry I hadda cut the whole thing a litttle short... (Ha! short! I played non-stop from 12:30 until 5:45) ...but, I truly wanted to keep going. That's what I call the sweet part of the afternoon.
But, I had promised I would play for an event uptown... something called Universal Peace Day. It was a series of gathering to remember and mark the day the United States dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I met the sweetest, most Peace-loving people. One gentle, gentle man.... Koji Kobayashi, was a little boy in Hiroshima on that terrible day. He told the saddest story, but has dedicated his entire life to Peace and understanding. A remarkable man.

It was a truly inspiring event and I was humbled and honored to be a part of it.
Earlier that day, onn "The Hill"... ha! Ha! We did lose one poor woman who took exception to a couple of the songs I sang. (I'll live with it.) I knew she was not my kinda gal as soon as she barked out that she wanted to say something to be "fair and balanced"!
Red flag! Red flag! "Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!"
Obviously a woman who is still in that unfortunate 36% of people who just can't admit, for whatever reason, the Truth about the single most unAmerican and failed administration in our lifetime.
Oh well. People like that have no idea that they're talkin' at a lifelong, registered Independent who has actually never cast a vote for anybody named Clinton. Didn't vote for anyone named Bush or Dole either, though.)
Ha!
Like I say... I'll live with it. I named tthe Podcast "I Love the Company" because I dig hangin' with the people in my life and in my audience who "get it".
As John Lennon said... I hope someday she will join us.
Hey! If you have any feelings about the songs I've written, or what's being played and said on ILTC, just gimme a call and leave a message! Maybe I'll play your comments on the show! OH YEAH!!!
And, if you feel like calling today to leave a "Happy Birthday" message for The Lovely Lisa, that would be cool, too.

Go ahead!
