Hey... yeah, it's time once again for "The Wednesday Wake-Up Call" on "I Love the Company"!

Got a brand new parody of a Simon & Garfunkel classic that I just finished writing and recording. I mean, just finished... about 10 minutes before posting it on the show. Never played Central Park, never played on Pier 45, never played anywhere. It's making it's world debut.... hell, it's universal debut! (Hasn't been played on Neptune yet, either.)

Give it a listen, then give me a call and let me know what you think.

To hear the show, just click on this logo.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.

Today's musical guests are: Paul Hipp, Jay Mankita and... George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Laura Bush, Rudy Giuliani, George Pataki and John McCain..

.

. . . . . . .

The focus on today's show is... well, I guess there's no other way to put it. The focus of today's show is the BULLSHIT that has come from the neo-con, right wing people who call themselves Republicans in this country for the past 5 years, and how any one with a scintilla of common sense and basic decency has to admit they finally see it for what it is... bullshit.

Hey, if you're one of the people that they've had fooled for a while, don't feel bad. They played to a combination of your basic love of country and deepest fears.

Welcome back.

Me?

I'm gonna keep feeling good about spreading the word through some of my music and a few of my words. It's what we do around here on Wednesday's.

BTW, I'm told the shows from Monday and Tuesday were particularly fun, If you wanna check them out just click on these links, too.

Monday's ILTC

Tuesday's ILTC

Oh yeah, and on today's show I promised to give you a link where you could download the one of my other new parodies, "Oh Exxon"... for FREE.

HERE IT IS. (OH, EXXON)

BTW, have you all gone to check out the MySpace page. And if you have... have you signed up as friends and contacts? I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.

Let me know, okay?

Here's the link:

Remember... THERE WILL BE A NEW SHOW ON "I LOVE THE COMPANY" TOMRROW AND FRIDAY... AND EVERY DAY NEXT WEEK!!! Believer it or not... we're coming up on episode #100.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
