Welcome to the website.

Yep, it's Wednesday. So, yeah.... it's "The Wednesday Wake-Up Call".

Y'know? Man! I love making music. And, I love hangn' with all of you. I love my life and I love people. I'm a fan. Today on "I Love the Company", we're gonna pay attention to what's goin' on in the world, specifically in Iraq, like we always do on Wednesday.

But, today we're gonna try to seriously put a human face on the numbers we always hear bandied about.

(Playin' some kickin' music, too.)

Here... click on this logo to give it a listen.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.

Yeah, the time is loooonnnnggg gone for tolerance of bullshit.... and delicacy.

Y'know, I say we'll put a human face on the nightmare that George W. Bush's administration has perpetrated on the world... because this sorry, criminal son-of-a-bitch just doesn't seem to "get it". He seems to have no conscious awareness of the human aspect of the tragic charade that is his presidency and his life. It's pretty obvious by the comments he makes and, more significantly, the manner in which he makes them.

To put things in a little better perspective, on today's show we also have a very special, non-musical guest... journalist Robert Fisk. He is a rare breed these days... a serious, fair-minded journalist who goes to great lengths to get to the Truth.

.

Today's musical guests are: Sam Leopold and Emily Richards.

.

Click on their photos to visit their websites, find out more about them and how to get their music.

Hey, weather permitting, I am gonna be on Pier 45 this coming Friday night for the "Sunset Concert Series". (7:00 - 9:00) Then, of course, on Saturday afternoon I will be at my home.... in Central Park. If you're in the New York City area, I hope I see you this weekend. We'll have a blast.

As always, I wanna ask you guys to click on this link and let me know what you think of the new MySpace page. And, if you're on MySpace as well, would you do the "friend" thing and spread the word around the internet that I finally showed up in there?

(Man! I'm slow sometimes.)

Cool?

Remember... THERE WILL BE A NEW SHOW ON "I LOVE THE COMPANY" TOMORROW AND FRIDAY AND EVERY DAY NEXT WEEK!!! So, subscribe by clicking on the iTunes button over there so you don't miss any of 'em.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
