Okay... this is what I'm gonna do today!

First I'm gonna thank all of you for another amazing weekend of music in Central Park.

Now... Lisa Regal has been taking great photos for this website. Lisa caught so many wonderful images from the Fourth of July "Hot Dog Weekend" at "The Hill" and I hafta post a few. (Maybe you're in one of them!) Linda Grahek lalo sent in a few from the last "Sunset Concert Series" on Pier 45. I'm just gonna post the first batch of pix today.

But, here's the thing.

Right now, it might be pretty cool if you guys download the Monday Mixed Bag edition of the Podcast, "I Love the Company" and listen to it while you're checkin' out all the photos. It's a fun show today.

Click on this logo to hear today's show.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.

The musical guests are: Sophia Ramos, Roger Bartlett, Phil Burr, and George Wurzbach. (Click on each photo to visit their websites.

She sang regularly with and became associated with hard boppers Hank Mobley, Duke Jordan, and Art Blakey among others before scaling back to occasional but eagerly anticipated local performances. Village Voice critic Nat Hentoff said that Lodi, "...illuminates a song, musically, from the inside."

Tomorrow, July 11 - show time 5:30pm (Go straight from work.)
Music Charge: $10

THAT WEDDING
What a "New York Moment". When they showed up unexpectedly, I invited them to have their first dance with us instead of at their reception. This was truly their first dance and EVERYBODY on "The Hill" sang for them. (Then, we screwed around with them a bit.) We had a really good, good time and they did too. Hope these kids email me and ask for the rest of the photos. I'd really love to get a little of the video they shot to share with you guys here at the website.

.

OUR GIRL, MAKI... WHO LOVES THE TUNE "MRS.ROBINSON"
These shots are from this past Saturday, when she couldn't leave without singin one mo' time!

And, here's a great shot from "Hot Dog Day"!

.

ONE MORE SHOT OF YOU GUYS ON HOT DOG DAY!

.

Well, hope you guys enjoyed the images. And, I hope you all enjoy listening to "I Love the Company" there is a phone number on today's show that you can call to leave a message or a comment. Please use it and be a part of the show. I've received a few phone-messages that I'm gonna use on the Podcast, one of them I will play during this week's "Wednesday Wake-Up Call".

Remember... THERE WILL BE A NEW SHOW ON "I LOVE THE COMPANY" EVERY DAY THIS WEEK!!!

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
