Yeah, man! Time for another Wednesday Wake-Up Call on "I Love the Company".

On the show today... got a guy who called in from Johannesburg South Africa, got a new song by Paul Hipp, got a whole lotta talk about stuff goin' on, got a phone number that you can call to leave a comment... got some laughs and some cool music. It's kind of about "distraction" today. Y'know, little things to keep your mind off of the catastrophe that was perpetrated on the world in Iraq. Y'know, in Iraq right at this very moment... at the same tme that young Mexican men wanna become busboys and Tom Cruise had a baby, and the gay couple living next door to me would... wait! The gay couple living next door to me wanna what!?!?!? They wanna... well, I don't care what they do behind closed doors. But, the idea of.... and wait. Wait a minute. Oh, I get it. The Mexican man who cleared the plates off that table in that restaurant is dangerous!?

Ahhhh, see?

Iraq?

Cool show today.

Distraction.

But, you hafta click on this logo to hear the show and be a part of it.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.

Today's musical guests are: Paul Hipp and Colleen Jameson. (Click on each of their photos to visit their websites and fnd out more about them and how to get their music.)

.

I'm also gonna begin the interviews really soon. I have a whole lotta fascinating people to speak with... let you guys in on some really cool stuff.

Hey listen. Some people are taking the coolest photos out in Central Park these days. (Hit the "Archive" button over there and go back through the last two updates to check 'em out.) I'm gonna try to get as many new pix up here in the website as I can so you can tell your friends to show up here and share the "Hill" vibe that you bring to me every weekend.

(Damn! It takes soooooo much time to update this page every day. I thought for sure that once the Podcasting started, it would cut waaaaay down on my typing and link-creating and photo-uploading.

Lord! Was I wrong!!!

So, I'm kinda runnin behind again.

I'll try to get the photo thing going real soon.

In the meantime, enjoy today's "ILTC" and stop back every day for a new show.

Then, I'll see you at the "Sunset Concert Series" on Friday night, and again in Central Park on Saturday.

Remember... THERE WILL BE A NEW SHOW ON "I LOVE THE COMPANY" EVERY DAY THIS WEEK!!!

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
