You gettin' outta town!?
It's the Fourth of July Weekend in New York City!

Did you decide to stay in town and hang with me this weekend? VERY COOL!
Well, if you're heading out of town, download "I Love the Company" and take it with you!
Click on this logo to listen to it right now.

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.
Today's musical guests are Cassie Kubinski, Karlus Trapp and Beth Thornley. Plus, there is a little something special at the end of the Podcast for America's birthday. Seriously. Yeah, yeah... I know. A guy like me who writes songs like "Tired of Being Lied To" and "My Morning Coffee" and "Where'dat Money Go?"... doing something special for America's birthday.
psssssst... Speaking up in times like these is the single most patriotic thing you can do. As far as America goes, I'm actually a fan... when I feel her actions are actions to be proud of. The idea that is this country... pretty damned great.
Anyway, today is a fun show.
Click on each of these photos to hook up with today's musical guests.

And, y'know? It's come to my attention that Adam Curry at The Daily Source Code discovered "Tom Cruise Scares Me". I think he'd really get a kick out of the "Cowbell" parody from this week's "Wednesday Wake-Up Call".)
I'll be back a little later to tell you more about DSC.
If you decided to stay in town, I'm gonna be on Pier 45 later this evening for the "Sunset Concert Series" to kick off the holiday weekend. Then tomorrow afternoon, I'll be at "The Hill" in Central Park doing what I always do... but, tomorrow is the day when we take care of a pretty cool little tradition that I started a couple of years ago. come on out and hang with me.

Check in here for weather updates about the outdoor gigs this weekend and check in here at the website all next week for a new "ILTC" every day. You can also subscribe on iTunes so you don't miss any of them.
Oh, listen. Just an early heads-up. I'm probably also gonna play over at the "Free Kayaking Dock" in Riverside Park on Tuesday July 4th. My buddy, Dennis Riley, volunteers over there with a bunch of great people. It' a very cool New York thang to do.
Hey, tell a few friends about this website and the Podcast, too. You also might wanna check out some of the video that James Marino has been shooting on Saturdays in Central Park.
If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park.

And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.
You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Okay, gotta get goin'.
Thanks again.
