Time for another "Wednesday Wake-Up Call"

Now, before you start emailing me, telling me I'm being hard on George W. Bush in today's installment of "I Love the Company"... let me just say this.

.

.

Yes. Yes, I am.

.

.

But, there is also a hysterical song that you guys hafta hear. It's a song by George Wurzbach and the boys of Modern Man.

Go ahead. Click on this logo to hear today's show.

Yeah, once a week on "ILTC" it's time for us to pay attention. Y'know, I really and truly would love it if you guys would get involved with the show, too. You can shoot me emails by hitting the "Contact" button... sure. But, on tomorrow's show I'm gonna give you a phone number again that you can call to leave a message or a comment about anything you hear on today's show. If you have something interesting to say, I may even put your voice and your comments right on the show.

Cool?

(Yeah, I think so.)

Y'know what else is cool?

James Marino has been coming out to "The Hill" in Central Park to shoot "I Love the Video". From what he tells me, the video of the Wedding Couple's First Dance has been downloaded and viewed well over 1,000 times already. (You guys are suckers for a beautiful moment! Me. too.)

But, here... you can also click on these images to view the video from this past Saturday!

.

There's a lot of cool stuff already in "I Love the Video" and it's gonna get better and better as the summer goes on. Y'never know what's gonna happen in New York City. That's what makes this town so great!

If you get a chance today, and you're one of the growing number of regulars who click on the Podcast every day... would you do me a favor? Would you tell at least one friend about it and ask them to check it out, too?

We're trying to grow something really special here on the internet. Kind of an extension of what we do in Central Park.

Listen, I gotta get going right now. I'm gonna be back to update this page again in a little while. So, check back a little later, okay?

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
