Okay!!! Here we go!

Just wanted to get you "The Wednesday Wake Up Call" as soon as I could.

Click on this logo and listen to the show today. (Exactly a half hour long. But, if you download it you can listen whenever you want.)

Fun show today... got a couple of great musical guests. And, I hadda set a huge wake-up call about right-wing Conservative wingnut, Ann Coulter. She is a whack job of the highest order and just a horribly twisted woman. But, she's got a new book out and is making the rounds on the talk show circuit. So, what the hell. Let's call her for what she is.

But, man! Got some kickin' music on today's show, too!

Doug MacLeod's "Don't Believe Everything You Read"...

Doug McLeod

and Sam Leopold's "Supermarket".

I'm gonna be back in Central Park on Saturday afternoon. Try to make it out there this week. Thid Saturday marks the weekend that I went to "TheHill" for the very first time... 15 years ago. Come on out an celebrrate that fact with me.

Plus... a crew from the PBS stations on Japanese television is gonna come out to begin a year-long story on Central Park and they're gonna do two segments on... uh... on me! (One this weekend and then a more in depth piece this fall.)

DOH!!! And, this Friday night I'm gonna begone the "Sunset Concert Series" on Pier 45 at the end of Christopher Street in the Village. The music cranks up at 7:00 and we sing the sun down until 9:00.

Very cool.

Okay, gotta get to work.

But, before I go... oh yeah.

YEAH YANKEES!!!

(Hope they take it to the Boston Red Sox again tonight!)

See you soon.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
