An even dozen.

Today you can hear Podcast #12.

The show is called "I Love the Company".

Here, click on this logo to hear the latest installment. (Or, download it to your mp3 player to listen to it wherever and whenever you want.)

Today, it's pretty much wall to wall music.

Musical guests:

Paul Hipp (Who recorded a track that is a kick! I'm not gonna tell you about it here. I'm just gonna say, he got the thing done pretty damned fast! Give it a listen.) ...and George Wurzbach and Sam Leopold.

I decided yesterday to just let it rip. I had a lot of fun puttin' the show together.

Um... by the way...

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHEN THAT FENCE AROUND "THE HILL" IS COMING DOWN!? (I have no idea who to contact about that kinda thing. Maybe I'll try to find out today.)

I have the permits in hand. And, I can go out there to play this weekend if the weather is fine. But, there will be no place for you guys to sit!

(Damn!)

Oh, hey... before I forget!!! Next Monday! I'm gonna be at Birdland. May 1st, from 7 to 9:00... it'll be a special, one-time, summer kickoff, look-back-at-14-years of "That Guitar Man from Central Park" gig.

Yeah, help me celebrate the start of my 15th summer with all of you. Click on this logo.

(You're not gonna wanna miss this thing. It's in two weeks!!! It's really not that big a place, so make reservations soon, okay?)

Here's the number: (212) 581-3080

Anyway... next Monday at 7:00.

Okay back to today. I'm feelin' good. Full of piss, vinegar and purpose.

You too?

Check out the Podcast and then check in at the newly reconstructed "Forum" (message board) that webmaster James Marino fired up again. Get in the sandbox with the other kids and mix it up a little. It's cool.

I'll be back with a new show in a little while.

Have a blast today. Make it a good, good day.

And, be cool to each other, okay?

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
