Hey, welcome to the website! Thanks for stopping by and checkin' it out.

Yeah, there is a new Podcast today... a new edition of "I Love the Company".

Today's musical guests are Cassandra Kubinski and Karlus Trapp. Plus, I'm kinda debutting a rough cut of the song "I Love the Company". It's the tune from which the show derives it's name. I explain where it all came from and how it all came down.

Anyway, click on the logo to listen to the show right now.

(Or, right-click or save it to your computer, ipod or mp3 player to listen to it whenever and wherever you want.)

I know alot of you are in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But, here in New York City it's startin' to feel like Spring again? Yeah... be out in the park before you know it. Although, I'm still waiting for the word from the Parks Department about the permit situation for this summer. I'll let you know as soon as I get the "all clear".

By the way, I understand the show (Podcast) just got picked up by the Apple Podcast network. If you're new here, and wondering what all this "Guitar Man" stuff is about, just take a few minutes to browse through the "Archives" over there, okay? The whole story is somewhere here on this website. You can also get an idea of what we've been up to by checking out previous updates. There are alot of free song downloads, free original cartoons... all kindsa stuff.

And, the first few editions of the show are right here if you wanna catch up.

I Love the Company - Number 1

I Love the Company - Number 2

I Love the Company - Number 3

If you wanna comment on the content or if you have anything you'd like to hear, just register in the "Forum" and let us know what's up, okay?

Hey... if you're a little bit confused by the whole "Podcasting" thing, don't worry.

You're not alone.

Nobody really understands where it's all going. But, the potential is awesome and it is a big part of the future of entertainment on the internet. All you hafta know right now is that it's basically like a radio show on your computer that you can listen to or download and take with you in your mp3 player. That's all.

And, then once a week... we'll have a video camera out in Central Park, or down at Pier 54 in The Village, or over in Riverside Park, or at any of the venues I'm gonna be playing this year. If you're at the gig, chances are you will be part of the show. Y'see, we'll shoot video of you guys singing, maybe give some of you a chance to say "Hey" to friends and family in different parts of the country or different parts of the world, and then make the video available for the whole world to see here at thatguitarman.com the following Monday.

Very cool.

If you feel like emailing me, there is a "Contact" button right over there. (I can't answer all the email I get. But, I promise I read every single one.... eventually.) And, like I said... there is a "Forum" (message board) over there that the webmaster (James Marino) put here for you guys to register in and talk about whatever you want.

Okay... gotta get to work.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
