Another Weekend!
One weekend closer to the Spring and Summer!
Man! Can you feel the Sun? Yeah sure, the air is still 40 degrees. But, when you walk down the sunny side of the street (as I always try to do) you can feel the Sun's rays on your skin cutting through the chill. And, it's feeling closer and closer to the time of year when we get to hang out together on "The Hill".

This is gonna be a special summer, for so many reasons.
Damn! I love making music!
Y'know, if you're new here take a few minutes to go back and browse a few updates. Recently, besides talking about the audio-Podcasts (Internet radio shows) that will begin here on the website very soon, I've been talking about the video-Podcasts that we're gonna do fron the park this year. If you're ut there, YOU will be a part of them! Very cool. I'm also gonna make a point of booking a "special guest" each Saturday. Y'know, get a really gifted artist to come out there so I can introduce them to the coolest audience in town... you guys.
In fact, y'know, yesterday's update explains it all pretty well. PLUS, there is a wonderful video of James Taylor you might enjoy.
Oh, listen before anything else!
This weekend marks the 3rd anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
3 years of violence. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people, many of them children, killed and horribly, horribly wounded. Shiites rounding up and torturing Sunnis instead of the other way around. Sunnis gunning down civilians and blowing up Shiite shrines. Kurds turning a memorial in to a smokey ruin earlier today. Brutality, rape, corruption, lawlessness, civil war...
2,314 Americans dead.
.
.
2,314
.
.
And, more every day.
This week the military launches "Operation Swarmer"... 1,500 ground soldiers, 50 helicopters to assault the area around Samarra because... (Get this. I swear this was just reported on CNN) ... 1,500 soldiers in this operation because it is believed up to as many as... "100" insurgents have been operating in the area.
Welcome to the theater of the absurd!
In a country that had nothing to do with the attacks on September 11th, 2001.
Disgraceful. Simply disgraceful.
But, here's a video from a while back. (No, not George W. Bush nearly 3 years ago declaring "Mission Accomplished" on May 1, 2003!)
No. This is actually TRUE!It's a pointed, logical and shake-your-head sensible report. (And, at exactly the same time it's tragic, it's actually pee-in-your-pants funny.)
Click on the picture and give the video a few minutes to load before you play it, okay?

See what I mean?
It's okay to laugh! (Sometimes it keeps me from crying.)
Oh hey!
Back to the Podcasts for a minute!
Thanks to James Marino, the webmaster of this site, many of my songs are being played all over the Podcast network. there is a showe called the "Jersey Todd Show that has played a few recently. Here's a link to his gig. Check him out. sounds like a nice guy.
THE JERSEY TODD SHOW
Hey, have fun today. Be cool to each other. And, please stop back every day. Tell your friends about this site, too. Oh, and if you go for this kind of thing... Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Okay... also, listen.
THANK YOU! To all of you who are helping out with this year's Permit Fund.
Seriously.
It makes it easier.
Very soon I'll try to send a personal "Thank You" email to every one of you, okay?
If you feel like helping out with this year's "Permit fund"... now would be a good time to do it. I put the paperwork and fees in for most of the permits to play on "The Hill" in Central Park already. If everything goes smoothly, and it doesn't rain like it did last Spring, we'll be hanging out together before you know it.
So if you feel like it, the webmaster James Marino has made it really easy. There are two buttons over there on the right. PayPal actually keeps a smaller percentage of your donation. But, either method is good.
But, only if you feel like it and only if you can afford to help out. Remember, it's most important to me that you show up... with or without your money.
Okay... gotta get on this Podcast thing.
If you feel like emailing me about anything at all, just click on the "Contact" button. I can't answer all the email I get. But, I promise I eventually read every single one. And, listen. I know there are people reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. If you're new here, go on and register in the message board ("Forum") and say "Hey". And, take a look through the "Archives" to see what we've been up to. There's alotta fun stuff in there... FREE songs to download, original political cartoons I've drawn... all kindsa stuff.
Thanks again.
