Hey... Happy Valentine's Day.

I hope... if you go for this kinda thing... you have a wonderfully romantic day. If not, hope you just have a great day today.

Hey listen. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm definitely gonna be back later with a full update, okay?

For now, just a couple of things.

First... I would like to welcome anyone who is new to this website. Take a few minutes to go back and look through the "Archives" and see what this is all about. There are a few FREE music downloads, a few political cartoons. (I posted a new one yesterday) There are some Photoshop things. In fact, if you click on this year-end update, you'll get a quick idea.

And, please... if you ever wanna email me personally about anything at all, just hit the "Contact" button over there. There is no way in hell I can answer all the email I get, but I promise I eventually read every single one, okay?

And, thanks to everyone who is throwing a few bucks at this year's Permit Fund over there on the right... either through PayPal or Amazon. (With fees and whatnot, I figure it costs me about $100 a day to get out there each weekend.) I've always done it on my own, but it's a whole liot easier with you guys. It's just us.

Thanks.

And... now a word about Dick Cheney.

Well, hell yeah!

So, the Vice President of the United States accidentally shot a man.

So, what!?

Hell... I understand completely. The quail he was aiming for obviously hated freedom. Besides people that actually believe in dissent and freedom of speech, there's nothing more unAmerican than peace-loving poultry. Killing this bird was simply Dick Cheney's priority at that moment. Mr. Cheney's agenda always comes first; whether it's deposing a regime on completely false intelligence, awarding no-bid contracts to your friends, selling The People out at secret energy policy meetings... or killing beautiful, little winged creatures. And, if 1 or 2... or... y'know, a few hundred thousand people get killed or injured in the process... so what!

And, in light of the photos that I am just getting my hands on, I'd hafta say...

.

.

.

.

...nice going, Dick!

That looks like one tough bird. (Good thing he used a shot gun!)

Here's a cartoon I did a while back. Seems kinda appropriate for today.

(Click on the image for the full-sized version. Download it for free and send it around to your friends if you like. Have fun.)

See you a little later.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
