Okay... I'm back.
Well, kinda.
This is gonna be another brief update. Moving from one apartment to another here in New York City, even for a guy like me who doesn't have alot of "stuff" is... well, it's still alot.
The thing that takes a large chunk of time in setting up a new space is the wiring and connecting all the strange and wonderful inventions that help me make music. I wanna be able to bring a whole bunch of new songs out to Central Park this year.

Y'know? I take that back. It isn't the strange and wonderful gadgets that help me make the music. They just help me record music.
There is a Creative Spirit, there are all of you, there are the thoughts in my head and the feelngs in my heart.... that help me make the music. Then, the main gadget is just a piece of wood strung with metal wire. The rest of the shit helps me record it, augment it, hear it, and then pass it on.
Speaking of playing outdoors, (I know it's a ridiculously cold day to even be thinking about it!)...
THANK YOU!
To all of you who are helping out with this year's Permit Fund.
Seriously.
It makes it easier.
Once I get settled in this new place I'll try to send a personal "Thank You" email to every one of you, okay?
I know there are people reading this page in different parts of the country and around the world. But, if you live in or around New York City, and if you feel like helping out with this year's "Permit fund"... now would be a good time to do it. I put the paperwork and fees in for most of the permits to play on "The Hill" in Central Park already. If everyting goes smoothly, and it doesn't rain like it did last Spring, we'll be hanging out together before you know it.
So if you feel like it, the webmaster James Marino has made it really easy. There are two buttons over there on the right. PayPal actually keeps a smaller percentage of your donation. But, either method is good.
But, only if you feel like it and only if you can afford to help out. Remember, it's most important to me that you show up... with or without your money.
What else? Oh, before I forget...
I AM PLAYING IN MANHATTAN THIS COMING TUESDAY NIGHT!
The early show at The Cutting Room ...on West 24th Street! (So, all of you downtown and East Side people can make it without having to get out your visa and passport to travel to the other side of Central Park.)
The Cutting Room is that place owned by Steve Walter and Chris Noth. (Y'know, the guy from Sex in the City and Law & Order.)
Great music venue. The doors open at 7:00
I'll let you know more about it tomorrow. But, start spreading the word okay?
I'm seriously thinking of making it a night where I pull out ALL of the social and political songs I've written over the past 4 years and air 'em out all in one night. Y'know, tell a few stories about the songs and how and why they were written. Give you guys a little background on some of the thoughts and feelings that went into them. It'll be fun, and I think it'll feel really Good.
So, if you're up for it spread the word and bring a bunch of friends, okay?
Okay... I gotta get back to work.
But, if you're new here take a few minute to look around and browse the "Archives", okay? There are original cartoons, like this one.

And, I promise I'll be doing more... once I find which cardboard box has my pen, pencil and drawing pad in it!?
There are also FREE song downloads on this site!!!
I wrote a song late last year about a cowboy with a secret... a different kind of secret.
Here. It's a FREE download for you guys. (All you hafta do is click on this picture and listen or download it for FREE.)
Pass it around to all your friends.

"A different COWBOYS LAMENT"
And, if you ever wanna email me about anything, just hit the "Contact" button. (I can;t answer aall the email I get. But, I promise I read every one.)
Okay. Maybe I'll see you this tuesday night at The Cutting Room.
But, I'll see you back here tomorrow
Thanks again.
