Hey... welcome to the website today.
There's a whole lot going on this week. Thanks for stopping by. We've got the Voices Together Concert comin' up in a couple of weeks. (More about that in a minute.)
Listen, I know that there are people reading this who stop by here from different places in the country and different parts of the world. But, here in New York City.... yesterday... Monday, was nearly a Central Park day. I mean, the temperature got up around 60 degrees and that's how warm it usually gets in the spring when I start playing my songs and we start hangin' out at "The Hill".

60 degrees or warmer in Central Park
Hangin' out in Central Park, Hudson River Park, Riverside Park... doin' what I do... well, that's still a few months away. And, y'know? Life is a mystery. Who knows if I'll be out there again this year. We'll see what happens when the weather warms up.
In the meantime... got this kickin' website and a whole lotta work to do. The Voices Together Concert is gonna be something special. I really hope you will be a part of it.
Before I get into that, I just have an observation.
Y'know.... for some reason it's really, really easy for me to picture some people as fourth graders, no matter how old they are. Not everybody, but some people. Like, I have absolutley no problem imagining someone like Bill Gates in a fourth grade class. Y'know? I have a feeling he looked essentially the same as he does now.
Every time I see Judge Samuel Alito on TV or a photo of him... he looks like he's in fourth grade to me.

Samuel Alito
He either looks like he's sad, scared or disappointed because he didn't get and "A" on a test, or he looks like he just got a part in the school play.

Okay, moving on.
Um... by the way, if you're new here and you wanna go back and grab any of the fun stuff we've been doing here on the "Guitar Man" website... y'know, the original cartoons or the FREE songs that you can download, just click on the "Archives" button. It all oughta be here somewhere.
So, what else is goin' on today?
Well, my friends and colleagues and I have started ramping up for the Voices Together Concert on Saturday night, January 28th.
Now... about this effort.
Y'know, Bob Dylan wrote, in the timeless song "Blowin' in the Wind"...
How may times can a man turn his head,
And, pretend that he just doesn't see?
Well, for some people, the number of times might just be countless. But, for some the answer is... no more.
So, a small group of my good friends and colleagues decided to get together... Voices Together... to try to make a difference in the lives of the people who are suffering terribly as the result of the war in Iraq, and are being largely ignored by our country and the world.
Yeah... there is a real war going on on the other side of the planet. And, the greatest number of deaths, injuries and heartaches are being inflicted on the civilian population.
They are the ordinary people, the civilian families, the men, women and especially the children of Iraq who are taking the brunt of the violence and destruction unleashed as the result of the war in their part of the world.
How may times can a man turn his head,
And, pretend that he just doesn't see?

Join us in getting direct help to the ordinary people of Iraq who are living through the daily fear and violence.

Okay?
Because...
How many times can we all turn our heads,
And, pretend that we just don't see?
Well, we can make a difference. YOU can help in a very real and direct way. There is a remarkable woman in Staten Island who has made 4 trips to Iraq already to get children who are in desperate need of help, and has brought them back to the States for the medical treatment they need. And, she's goin'again! She is Elissa Montanti and she calls herself the Global Medical Relief Fund.
So, we want to make her work easier.
Pleeeeez help us... to help her... help them.
