Okay...

Here's a photo of a bunch of ordinary people, enjoying music in Central Park on a beautiful afternoon in New York City.

Ordinary people. Good people.

Are you one of "The People on the Hill"? Are you one of the people who have hung out with us in Central Park?

Well, whoever you are... wherever you are reading this, we need you.

We need you to show up. We need you to rally your friends in the New York City area. We need you... to do something extraordinary. We need you to show up at the Voices Together Concert.

Please... click on this logo go to the Voices Together website.

The concert at Symphony Space, here in New York City, is gonna be a great night of music. This is not a morbid affair. It is gonna be a night of purpose, Love, fun, laughter, a few tears... but, mostly, I promise it's gonna be a wonderful night of music. (I have worked with all of the artists who are gonna be on the stage that night, and I am a genuine fan of every single one!) And, we're keeping our fingers crossed for another very special guest to join us.

I'm not going to go into the details of the concert today. You can go back through some recent updates and check out all the people who are gonna be on stage. (It's gonna be a kickin' show!!!)

Today... I just want to share some images of the ordinary people we are trying to help.

These are the people who are suffering the most in the war in Iraq.

Y'see, the whole theme of this concert, the whole idea of it is...

Ordinary people... helping ordinary people.

.

All you hafta do to make a real difference is show up at a concert in two weeks.

.

.

Well... it's a start anyway.

Uh... Mr. Cheney? Who gets this reconstruction contract?

The answer?

Us.

"It's just us."

The ordinary people.

Look, I know the music in Central Park is FREE all summer. I know the tickets for this concert might seem like a lot. But, every nickel of your money... ALL of the proceeds are going to these people who need help so badly.

You can get tickets, right now... today... at the Peter Norton SYMPHONY SPACE website.

We also have a very limited number of VIP tickets available. But, if you want to order those and be invited to the reception after the show, you have to contact the Voices Together Group at:

Get VIP Tickets

The VIP section will get all kinds of goodies, and the artists will all hang out at the reception after the gig.

Listen, I gotta get out there and get to work. If you feel like emailing me about the concert or anything at all, just click on the "Contact" button. I can't answer all the email I get. But, I promise I eventually read every single one.

See you at Symphony Space on Janaury 28th.

Thanks.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
