Hey, welcome to the website.
Well, the Voices Together Concert is 2 days away... this Saturday night!
Y'know, we look at the stats every now and then. Lots and lots of people visit this website from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But, if you're in or around the New York City area this weekend, please try to be part of this first-ever benefit concert to help the civilians... the ordinary people in Iraq, especially the children, who are suffering so terribly as the result of the war in that part of our world.
Listen... have you ever hung out with me in Central Park in the warm weather?

If you have, you know what a good time we always have when there are a bunch of cool people and at least one guitar in the vicinity.
Well, I happen to have worked with every single one of the artists involved in Voices Together at one time or another. So, I can promise you this...
This gig on Saturday night at Symphony Space is gonna be one of the coolest experiences you can have at a concert. It will be a night of Love and purpose, laughter, smiles, a few tears.... but, mostly great music.
But, as far as the reasons you will wanna be a part of this event, the great music is really only a distant second. The theme of this gig is...
Ordinary people... helping ordinary people.
If you're an ordinary person like me and you can't sit by and do nothing while thousands and thousands of men, women and children are being caught in the daily violence and fear in Iraq with nearly no one to help them.... with nearly everyone in the American "news" media ignoring them... then, here's a chance to do something about it... do something really good.
Try... right now... try to get your mind around this.
This month alone, while the country is watching Judge Alito and "Ice Skating with the Stars", another 58 more Americans have lost their lives in Iraq. (2,238 so far)
But... ready for this?
This month alone, over 500 Iraqi's have died in the fighting... many of them just children.
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine what happens to the survivors, the ones who actually make it through these horrific bomb blasts and air strikes?
Who's helping these people?
Do most Americans even wonder?
Here... click on the logo and find out about the people who are getting very real, very direct help to people who really need it. We're doing this gig to raise the money to help them get some of these kids out of Iraq and to the U.S. so they can get to a hospital.

A Staten Island woman named Elissa Montanti has already made 4 trips to Iraq. She is an otherwise ordinary woman who is doing the most extraordinary things. And, will have two of the children you will be helping with her at Symphony Space Saturday night. Dr. Khalil Jassem of a remarkable group of people called LIFE will be coming all the way from California to tell us about the work they are doing to help the civilians of Iraq. And, the artists who are gonna be a part of this kickin' songwriter's circle are... well... what a night this is gonna be!
Here's the lineup...

Please make the decision right now to do something extraorinary with an otherwise ordinary Saturday Night. Do it for yourself.
Do it for them.

Uh... Mr. Cheney? Who gets this reconstruction contract?
The answer?
Us.
"It's just us."
The ordinary people.
Look, I know the music in Central Park is FREE all summer. I know the tickets for this concert might seem like a lot. But, every nickel of your money... ALL of the proceeds are going to these people who need help so badly.
You can get tickets, right now... today... at the Peter Norton SYMPHONY SPACE website.
We also have a very limited number of VIP tickets available. But, if you want to order those and be invited to the reception after the show, you have to contact the Voices Together Group at:

The VIP section will get all kinds of goodies, and the artists will all hang out at the reception after the gig.
Listen, I gotta get out there and get to work. If you feel like emailing me about the concert or anything at all, just click on the "Contact" button. I can't answer all the email I get. But, I promise I eventually read every single one.
See you at Symphony Space on Janaury 28th.
