TONIGHT!

The very first-ever...

.

.

...CONCERT!

.

.

Symphony Space... Broadway@95th Street in Manhattan.

You can get tickets, right now... today... at the Peter Norton SYMPHONY SPACE website.

OR... JUST SHOW UP!!!

The whole idea of this concert is to get as much direct and very real help to the innocent civilians, especially the children, who are being hurt so badly every day in the war in Iraq.

This little angel...

Not only did she lose her leg, but her 8 year old brother was killed in an air strike in Iraq. Well, her name is Dalal. She and her father will be with us tonight to say hello to all of you. She is one of the thousands and thousands of people this concert is trying to help. We want get as many kids like Dalal here to The States so they can get to hospitals and get the treatment they so desperately need.

You can help.

Please... please, please, please show up for this. There are plenty of tickets left.

No governments. No celebrity hoo-ha. The theme of this very special evening is...

Ordinary People... Helping Ordinary People.

If you've ever hung out with me in Central Park over the years...

...you know what I'm about. And, you know that we're gonna share a wonderful night in that theater.

And here's the list of artists who are all showing up for this gig.

(Click on each photo to visit their websites.)

. . . .

They are... Christine Lavin, Karlus Trapp, Modern Man, Roger Bartlett, Sam Leopold... and me.

The only thing that will make this night more special.... (seriously) is if...

YOU show up.

Please do.

Please make the decision right now to do something extraordinary with an otherwise ordinary Saturday Night.

.

.

.

Listen... immediately after this gig togight, I'm heading to the airport to do a few gigs out of town. I will be back on February 6th. So, I'm gonna ask my good friend (And the webmaster of this site) if he'll pick up the ball and run with it for a week.

James Marino will probably be updating these pages. It'll be cool. A welcomed change of pace, I'm sure. (You guys gotta get sick of me after a while.)

If you're new here, why don't you have a little fun and browse through the "Archives"... get an idea of what goes on here, okay?

I love you all.

And, I'll see you again when I get back.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
