WELCOME to the website today!
Hey! The Voices Together Concert is gettin' close... about a week from now.
Y'know? Believe me I know what a lucky man I am. As an independent artist, I'm often in a very, very fortunate position that alot of independent artists who are out on their own never are. Y'see, thanks to all of you I get the opportunity and the venue to share my songs, my laughter and my heart with so many wonderful people on a pretty regular basis. I get a chance to do that nearly every weekend in the summer... in Central Park.

Thank you.
I always say, for me, when I'm "paying attention"...there are a million reasons to be grateful.
And a heart filled with gratitude has very little room for anything bad. Maybe that's one of the reasons I got so involved with the Voices Together Concert in the first place. I feel so fortunate.
Listen, if you're reading this... and you're well-fed, and there is a warm room waiting for you tonight, and there isn't a war raging outside your window... you might feel fortunate, too.
You wanna share that feeling and do some real Good at the same time?
All you gotta do is make the decision, right now, to get your ticket and ask a few friends to join you at the Voices Together Concert in one week.
You won't be sorry. It is going to be one very special night.
And, just by having this kickin' night of music we are all going to raise some real money to get very real and very direct help to the innocent civilians, the ordinary people like you and me, who are suffering so terribly as the result of this war in Iraq.... especially the children.
This little angel, Dalal...

...lost both her right leg and her 8 year old brother at the same time in an airstrike.
Guess what?
She will be at the concert next week.
A woman named Elissa Montanti calls herself the Global Medical Relief Fund and has made several trips to Iraq already to get people who have been horribly hurt and bring them to this country to get desperately needed medical help. LIFE, headed by a wonderful man named Dr. Khalil Jassemm, is another remarkable group that actually has people on the ground in that part of the world, who get real help to the people who need it most.... those whose lives are being torn apart in the violence and fear.
Dr. Jassemm of LIFE, Ms. Montanti, and Dalal and her father will with us be at Symphony Space on Saturday, January 28th to enjoy some wonderful music, but also to tell you what's going on and how we all can help.

(Click on the logo to visit the Voices together Website.) There you'll find out all about the beautiful people we want to raise this money for, and about the heroic work they are doing.
All YOU hafta do today to be a real hero and make a real difference is buy tickets tickets. You can get tickets, right now... today... at the Peter Norton SYMPHONY SPACE website.
Listen, if you are one of those people blessed with more money than many, we also have a very limited number of VIP tickets available. But, if you want to order those and be invited to the reception after the show, you have to contact the Voices Together Group at:
Get VIP Tickets
The VIP section will get all kinds of goodies, and the artists will all hang out at the reception after the gig.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for a little miracle to happen.... so, that we can announce another special guest or two. So, keep checking back okay?
Here are the artists who've lined up so far. (Click on each photo to visit their websites.)

They are... Christine Lavin, Karlus Trapp, Modern Man, Roger Bartlett, Sam Leopold... and me.
You all know that, personally and artistically, I never shy away from letting my thoughts and feelings known... especially here at the "Guitar Man" website. But like I said, I hope we can all come together for this purpose.

For them...
.

.
For all of us.
.
It's also gonna be an amazing night... a whole lotta fun to be a part of. It's gonna be a night of smiles, purpose, laughter, some tears.... but mostly an evening of music.
Listen, I gotta get out there and get to work. If you feel like emailing me about the concert or anything at all, just click on the "Contact" button. I can't answer all the email I get. But, I promise I eventually read every single one. And, listen. I know there are people reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. If you're new here, take a look through the "Archives" to see what we've been up to. There's alotta fun stuff in there... FREE songs to download, political cartoons... all kindsa stuff.
See you at Symphony Space on Janaury 28th.
Thanks again
