It's next Saturday Night! That's right. It's on a Saturday night this year! And, did you know that the Box Office at Merkin Hall is open today... on Sunday?! You can give them a call today and get tickets.

We always have a blast at this gig.

There ain't a bad seat in Merkin Concert Hall. There are only 450 seats in the whole place. And, the sound is great in that room.

Just be ready to sing! And, I guess, every year we laugh as much as we sing. Just a great way to end the year, and to celebrate whatever holiday it is you celebrate. And, I've got a coupl of new songs never heard anywhere before.

Plus... if you have any last minute Christmas shopping to do... bring a few extra bucks.

ALL of the CDs are gonna be on sale in the lobby. So, if you have a favorite album, why don't you get a copy for a friend. It really is kind of "uniquely New York" gift. Y'know? You can't get a "Guitar Man from Central Park" CD in a record store! (I'm not sure that's good news, but it's true.)

And, y'know? Kathi Gillmore... (who has sung with me in the park off and on for several years) ...is gonna be in the audience that night. So, I'm gonna try to get her up on the stage to sing my song "I Can't Wait" with me one more time before she leaves for the West Coast for good.

Yeah... it's gonna be cool. Dave Marcus is gonna be in the audience, so I know he's gotta get up on stage with me and sing. And, a fine female singer named Cindy Bubniak has been singin' around town with other artists for a while now. She promised to sing harmony with me on a bunch of stuff.

In the audience? I know there's gonna a young woman, a singer/songwriter named Erika Weander, who has her own band and sings around town. Well, I know that she's gonna be in the audience, too. And, I'm gonna see if she wants to sing a song with me. I know that Beth Shane is gonna be out there... we'll just make it up as we go along.

ALSO! Jim Caruso, the host of "CAST PARTY" at Birdland, is gonna be there. So, I hafta get him on the stage for something!

Listen, I know it's apparent I'm slowly losing my mind. It's okay. I'm smiling.

We're gonna have alot of fun at Merkin Hall next weekend. Try to make it okay? Call a few friends and make plans to go out for a holiday dinner before the show, or for a holiday drink after the gig. (That's why it's so cool it's on a Saturday Night this year!)
