Yeah... y'know, there are people reading this in different parts of the country and in different parts of the world. It's 64 degrees here in New York City as I write this. But, I have a feeling the North Witch is gonna make her arrivial tonight. I don't think we'll be getting out of the 40s for the next few days.
So, it would seem that the "outdoor" season for music is finally over.
Man! What a great year! Thanks so much for comin' around!

HEY! Today I did a new cartoon for you guys to pass around! And, I need to ask a huge favor of you guys! But first...
Listen... in just a little over 4 weeks from now, we'll all be getting together in Merkin Concert Hall for our annual "Year-End Holiday Concert". (Ha! Since I'm not a religious man I think this year we'll have a Festivus theme.)
Seriously, it's just a good, good time. All the faces from the summer in Central Park... all that "It's Just Us" feeling... all in one hall. Very cool. Call a few friends today and make plans to be there. It's on a Saturday night this year!
Saturday, December 17th
8 PM
All the seats are back down to $20
(We lowered the price to give everybody a break.)
The webmaster of this site, James Marino, made it really easy for you guys to get tickets right now if you want. You can either call the box office... (They're open today) 212-501-3330
...or get tickets "online" right over there on the right!
Box Office Hours:
Sunday - Thursday: 12-7pm
Fridays: 12-3pm

Merkin Hall in December
Like I said, this year, it's on a Saturday night, December 17th. It's a great way to send the year out the door. And, this year... I have a feeling we could all use a night to just kick back, forget about alot of the mess in the world today, sing together, share a few stories and a whole bunch of music. If you've ever been to one of these things, you know what it feels like. The gig is only 4 weeks away and there are only 450 seats in Merkin. (We've sold it out several times in the past.) So, try to get your tickets sooner than later.
Okay, what else?
Oh yeah... AND, NOW! THE FAVOR!
I had a meeting yesterday with Chuck Oliner of Koch Entertainment/Koch Records. That company is interested in the possibility of putting out a "Best of..." album. Y'know, a collection of 12 or 14 of my songs. It would be for national distribution. Y'know... a CD of the songs you guys like best from the other 6 albums.
So, would you make a list of some of your favorite songs that I've written. (Yeah, the political and the funny songs count, too!) Make a list and email it to me directly throguh the "Contact" button over there on the right?
It would be a big help. I mean, I know which songs are my favorites. But, all of you are the better judges. So, thanks in advance for that.
You can email me through that "Contact" button for any other reason, too.
Now! New cartoon! I was in one of those artisitic moods last night. But, instead of pickin' up the guitar, I picked up my pen and pencil again. Here, this is for you guys. Like the song downloads, it's FREE. Pass it it all around the internet if you want. But, just tell people where you got it, okay?
Ha! Maybe because the last cartoon featured Dick Cheney losing control of his "Scooter", I kinda decided to stay with that theme.

Latest Newsweek Poll shows 65% of Americans are finally getting their minds around the deception. But, y'know? One bullshit speech or another "dress-up" flight to an aircraft carrier, and those numbers will flucuate by 10 points. (sigh)
Listen, if you wanna get the other cartoons, or any of the other Photoshop things we've done, just click on the "Archives" button. It's all still here on the site! And, just click on these titles for your FREE download of "JesusLand" or the brand new tune, "A different COWBOY'S LAMENT" .
Well, enough of that! We're gonna have some fun on December 17th at Merkin!
Oh, hey, don't worry! If you're weary from the events in the world? The Merkin Concert is just gonna be a "Feel Good" night!
Also, if you have a few minutes today, would you click on this logo and go to the...

...website.
Find out all about that amazing and worthwhile event I'm gonna be a part of in January, okay?
.
And, I hope I'll see you at Merkin Hall in December!
Thanks again.
