Well, just not feelin' like a day for an outdoor concert.
I'm gonna watch the thermometer. If it looks like it's gonna get up to around 60 degrees next weekend, I'll head out to Central Park with my guitar, one mo' time. Check back here this week and I'll let you know, okay? Sometimes we get a little Indian Summer here in New York City. We'll see.

Look, the "outdoor" season just might be over. But, we've got lots of great "indoor" things comin' up this Fall and Winter... probably something about every week. AND, the tickets for the BIG "Year-End Holiday Concert" at Merkin concert Hall are already on sale. (We've sold that out several times already. There are only 450 seats in Merkin.) So, if you wanna get specific seats for you and your friends, get tickets early, okay?
Oh, yeah... and, we lowered the price this year to give everybody the little break that we all deserve these days! (Somebody's gotta!)
All seats this year are only $20
Box Office Hours:
Sunday - Thursday: 12-7pm
Fridays: 12-3pm

Oh, and hey. The tickets are also on sale for the VOICES TOGETHER concert in January. More about that in a minute.
If you're new to this website... welcome!
Take a look around. Go browse through the "Archives". We had a few fun updates this week.
By the way, the National Weather Service announced that they have heard quite enough Flintstones jokes surrounding the latest hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, so they've decided to rename it. The name has been officially changed from Hurricane Wilma... to Hurricane Yugatta-Bekiddin.

Hurricane Yugatta-Bekiddin
Oh and hey... listen. Since I won't see you today, I should let you know that I am going to be sittin' in at the SGA Songwriters Circle tomorrow night (Monday)... at the Red Lion, on Bleecker Street in the Village. And, it's FREE! Seriously, if you've ever been to one of these, you know how much fun they are. If you haven't, you really oughta grab a friend or two and head down. It's a blast. I get to share the stage with some amazing songwriters. It's one of those little New York Secrets. I'll tell you more about it in tomorrow's update.
Also, tomorrow... I'll be introducing the new series of HOMELAND SECURITY COLOR WARNING SYSTEMS. So, check back and tell all your friends to stop by this website. I don't wanna alarm anyone... but, if you don't... you all could DIE!

....kidding.
.
What else? Oh yeah, tomorrow night... at the Red Lion... doh! Already told you about that!
No, actually I wanna tell you about...

As I do every day now, I wanna tell all the newcomers about this concert that we're doing' at Symphony Space here in New York City on January 28th.... what we're doing and why we're doing it. (Click on that logo to visit the Voices Website, okay?)
We... my friends and I... a bunch of ordinary people, refuse to ignore the carnage that is ravaging the Iraqi people... today... now... since the U.S. invasion.
And, there is a woman we've found named Elissa Montanti, an otherwise ordinary New York woman, who has made 4 trips into Iraq to get people and bring them here to the States for the medical help they cannot get in that war-torn part of the world. She is an angel... a true hero. We want to help her do the work she has chosen to do in any way we can. Therefore, VOICES TOGETHER Concert.
She has done amazing things already for so many... but, everyday there is much, much more to do.
Here's the lineup of artists who are gonna join me on stage so far.
Christine Lavin
Roger Bartlett (My pal, "Dodger")
Sam Leopold
George Wurzbach
The list is growing. And, we're hoping for some really amazing surprise guests. You can get tickets for this event right now, today, by going to the Peter Norton SYMPHONY SPACE website.
BUT! We also have a very limited number of VIP tickets available. But, if you want to order those and be invited to the reception after the show, you have to contact the Voices Together Group at:
Get VIP Tickets
The VIP section will get all kinds of goodies, and the artists will all hang out at the reception after the gig.
If you wanna help in another really extraordinary way, you can make a donation, right online, and become one of the "producers" of this concert. Really! You will be a concert producer! It's gonna be a special event that you are really gonna feel great being a part of.
Hey, to find out more about Elissa Montanti and the work she's doing, visit the Global Medical Relief Fund website. She's the main reason we started the whole thing.
And, oh... listen! If you're new here! Why don't you register in the new "Forum" (message board) while it's still there and jump in there to hang out with people from all over!
Okay...
...listen, whatever you wind up doing today, make it a really good memory, okay?
I'll see you soon.
Thanks for everything.
