Aaaahhhhh! Thanks for stopping by the website.

What a day.

Man!

Central Park.... at "the Hill"... all afternoon.

"Crazy on the Same Day", "One Word", "Talk Louder" (The Cell Phone Song), "Just Hafta Trust Me"... Beatles, Eagles, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Rob Thomas, Bruce Springsteen...

..."The People on the Hill".

"People on the Hill" - Central Park

If you stayed in town this holiday weekend, maybe I'll see you in Central Park today... or, in Riverside Park tomorrow.

Oh listen, quickly... if anybody has been thinking of buying an extra copy of "Common Ground" or "Crazy on the Same Day" or the single "JesusLand"... for now, go get it from this company, CD BABY... and EVERY NICKEL of my profits goes to the relief effort on the Gulf Coast.

Okay?

Not a whole lot else to say today. (Ha! And, almost nobody should be sitting in front of their computer anyaway!)

But... if you're new here, or reading this in another part of the country or another part of the world, you can take a minute or two to browse through the "Archives" today. Even stop in the "Forum" if you feel like it.

You're also invitied to click on this logo and visit the new website...

...and, find out how you can be a real part of the VOICES TOGETHER concert. Really make a difference for the better in this world. A very real and direct difference.

If you don't know what I'm talking about... this concert is part of a sincere effort to get as much help as we possibly can directly to the innocent civilian families, especially the children, who are living through the war in Iraq.

This is gonna be a very special night, sometime in January here in New York City. And, like I said, you are welcome to be a real part of it. Help us produce this concert so that we can help some very special people who are doing some very remarkable work in that part of the world, okay?

And... it'll feel good to help. And... it'll actually be fun.

Oh, oh, oh. And, just an early heads-up. NEXT WEEKEND... September 11 falls on Sunday. Yeah, I know. I know. Permits. Rules. Yeah, yeah...
.

I WILL be at "The Hill" in Central Park.

.

.

Where else should I be?

Okay, that's it from me today.

Whatever you're doing and wherever you are today, make it a worthwhile day. Smile for yourself and give a few away today, okay?

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
