Hey everyone...
Thanks for stopping by the website today.
Yes!
I am going to be at "The Hill" in Central Park tomorrow afternoon.
Man! I'm looking forward to it. Y'know, I'm always grateful for every day I get to share my music with you all. But, at this time of year, I reeeallly consider every warm afternoon a gift.

Got a good feeling about tomorrow. I'm hoping that Kathi Gillmore will show up again to sing a couple of songs with me.
I'm also gonna make an announcement about the VOICES TOGETHER Concert in January. But, I'll tell you more about that further down this page, okay?
Hey, on a side note... HA! Man! I don't think anyone could possibly have any doubt how I feel about the war in Iraq... the false premise for it, the misguided prosectution of it, the politicizing of it, the manipulation, the morally treasonous connections made to September 11th, the lies, the cover-ups, Abu Graib, Halliburton... all of it.
But, those are my feelings. I used to post them in the "Forum" or message board over there. However, I am not participating in this new version of the message board. I will always speak my mind here on the home page, though.
Well, there is a thread in the "Forum" (new message board) for discussions about Iraq. There are threads for all kindsa topics. So, go on in there and discuss Iraq if you want. But, I explained to the moderator a few weeks ago that NO pro-war propaganda or false information would be tolerated in there. It is not my responsibility to give pro-war advocates a soap-box for that kinda thing.
If that's your bag... please go post in somewhere else. It's a free country. There are plenty of websites out there for that. (Ha! Write to Sean Hannity!)
This is my website.... and, I won't be havin' it.
Cool?
(Honestly, I told the webmaster and moderator, James Marino, even before that... that if it continues, I'd ask him to pull the whole thing down so there will be NO message board at all.)
Anyway... hey! No matter how you personally or politically feel about the war, there is no doubt that the people who are being killed and hurt the most as the result of our invasion are the innocent civilians... even thousands of children. No discussion.
THAT'S the reason for the VOICES TOGETHER Concert.
So, no matter how you feel about it, I hope you are willing to support this effort.
What is it?

Uh... Mr. Cheney? Who gets this reconstruction contract?
The answer?
We do.
Ordinary people like you and me. Y'see, caught on the front of the violence in Iraq have been thousands and thousands of innocent people. Ordinary men and women just like you and me. And, thousands of children have been left horribly hurt and orphaned. (Some people don't want to hear that or acknowledge this horror. I know! I've got the emails to prove it!) But, it's undeniable that many, many more fold civilians have been killed and hurt in this war than military. A small group of friends and colleagues got together to form the VOICES TOGETHER GROUP. It is our intention to raise as much money as we possibly can to support two groups of good, good people who are on the ground in Iraq making a real difference in the lives of those whose lives are being torn apart by this war. Bringing them medical help where there is none, offering them a chance to put their lives back together. One woman that we want to support with this concert, Elissa Montanti from Staten Island New York, has made 4 trips to Iraq to bring children hurt in the daily bombings back to a hospital in the States for the medical help they need so desperately. She's an angel. (This summer, she actually brought two children she helped from the other side of the planet to "The Hill" in Central Park for an afternoon of music.)
So, we are putting up the VOICES TOGETHER Concert in January, here in New York City. The whole idea of this gig is this...
ORDINARY PEOPLE (like us)... HELPING ORDINARY PEOPLE (like them).
BIG NEWS!
We may announce, as soon as tomorrow, that we have chosen the venue and date for this event.
So... here's your chance to do something really worthwhile today.
Click on this logo, and go to the VOICES TOGETHER website.

...and help us out. Okay?
Make a donation, right online, and become one of the "producers" of this concert. Really! You will be a concert producer! It's gonna be a special event that you are really gonna feel great being a part of.
Of course, we're looking for those huge angels who can afford to send a $5,000 tax deductible donation.... or $1000... or $100... but, ANY amount will help.
$50... $25... whatever you can really afford to give.
And you will ALL be listed on that website as "Producers" of the show... and, in the program that night!
It's important. It's the GOOD thing to do.
Okay, so check back here tomorrow or at the Voices website for the possible announcement of the venue and date. I'll also let you guys know all about it in Central Park this weekend.
Hope I see you tomorrow.
Thanks again.
