Welcome to anyone who is new to this website. We added a whole bunch of new names to the BIG list this weekend, several from different parts of the country and around the world. Hope you guys check in pretty regularly. There's a lot of great stuff comin' up.
First, I wanna thank everyone who showed up in Central Park again this past Saturday.

Central Park
But also, man! What a great night at the SGA Songwriter's Circle! I can tell you this... all of you who showed up for that little "New York Secret" got to hear at least two or three of the songwriters I would like to invite to be a part of the VOICES TOGETHER concert in January.
Y'know, I say it often. But, I mean it every time. I'm such a lucky man. Last night, sharing a stage with these other artists is an honor, and just a blast! Mr. Sam Leopold always blows me away, and he did it again last night with a new tune called the "Empire Room". George, Skip and everybody's eccentric uncle, John Wallowitch... just another amazing night.
.
That's George Wurzbach, the man who wrote "Much Better View of the Moon", working magic at the piano on the left. And in the picture on the right, that's my friend Sam Leopold, who is a modern-day troubadour of the purest kind.

Me? I got to air it out with "JesusLand" thanks to the recent rantings of evangelist Pat Robertson of the network, "The 700 Club". Y'know? I never knew what the hell the "700" stood for. But, now I think I know! Here's Pat Robertson calling for covert special ops to "take out" the elected leader of a foreign country... made me think. AHA! What's "700" backwards!?
007 !!!
Hmmmmm.
ssshhhhhhhhhh.
Anyway, I digress! I had a great time playing that song, and "Crazy on the Same Day", and "Another 15 Years", and "Just Hafta Trust Me". When the whole room is singin' a song that I've written, there are no words to describe the feeling except... thanks.
Anyway, John Wallowitch was on stage again last night, making everybody howl. He's brilliant... and, just plain odd, sometimes.
.
Afterwards, my buddy Dennis and I spoke with Sam about being a part of the VOICES TOGETHER gig early in 2006, and he's comletely on board. So now, all we have to do is get the thing financed and it's a go!
This concert is part of a sincere effort to get as much help as we possibly can directly to the innocent civilan families, especially the children, who are living through the nightmare of the war in Iraq.
If you wanna find out about it, and you feel like being a very real part of it... please click on this logo.

We reeeallllly coud use your help. Open your mind, your wallet, and your heart.
And, keep checking back here and at the VOICES website for updates and news about how the project is evolving. Oh yeah, and EVERYBODY that helps us out right now is being listed on the "Concert" page as a producer of the show.
It's all pretty amazing... and, definitely worthwhile.
I'll see you back here tomorrow.
Maybe I'll stop in the "Forum" a little later.
Whatever you're doing today... hope you make today worthwhile, too.
Thanks again.
