Hey! How're you feelin' today?
I know. I know. Hot... muggy. It's gonna break by mid-week. I promise.
I had a really great day with you guys in Central Park on Saturday. Thanks for hangin' out. It's always fun to get into a bunch of songs that I'm not really sure I know. Y'know? Songs from waaaay back that you guys throw out. Taking a run at them, and having some of them fly is always a really cool feeling. If you've got other song suggestions, you can always just hit the "Contact" button and let me know about it.
Listen, the "Big Email List" is up and running again. So, this week I'll be able to let you guys all know (Especially our observant Jewish friends who were so disappointed when the Central Park concerts were moved to Saturday.) ...where the Riverside Park gigs will happen. We got cancelled this weekend because some people who live up in the neighborhood of 103rd Street complained. (Everybody's got a right to complain. One man's music is another man's noise.) So, the Park Administrator, K.C. Sahl, suggested a couple of other locations that I'll take a look at this week. It'll all be cool. I'm easy.

"The Hill" in Central Park
The cancellation actually worked out pretty well yesterday... I mean, woulda been a rainout anyway. And, my buddy Dennis and I got to jump down to Staten Isalnd to meet with some wonderful people who might be very instrumental in helping us mount this benefit concert I've been talking about to be held near the end of January.
Y'know what? I've got a slammin' busy day today. So, if you wanna know more about this concert and our effort to help a couple of extraordinary people who are helping ordinary Iraqi civilians, click on the link below and read through yesterday's update.
Get a general idea of what we're planning here.
I've actually gotta run right now. I'll be all over town today. If you see me on the street, say "Hi", okay?
I gotta go.
Maybe I'll update this thing again a little later. But, if you're at work and don't check in here on the weekends, go ahead and click on yesterday's update and catch up. And if you can, let me know if there's any way you can help Elissa Montanti and her Global Medical Relief Fund. Let me know if you have any ideas for facilitating this concert. Let me know if you have any other out-of-the-box ways of helping. All good people with good ideas and suggestions are welcome.
Or, email Elissa and Kenan directly... here.
Thanks again.
