Lookin' like a beautiful day here in New York City. So, you know where I'll be all afternoon.
Hope I see you in Central Park!

If you can't make it over to Central Park today, for whatever reason... y'know I'm doing the same kinda thing over in Riverside Park on Sunday afternoons. Not quite as long a gig, though. (More like 1:30 - 5:00) And, I think it may become a little more of a VH-1 Storytellers kinda thing than the concerts in Central Park. We'll see how it evolves.
Hey listen... got a friend of "The Hill" over in England who gave us a shout. (He's the radio personality over there who was playing some of my music on a BBC station in the UK.) His name is Dominic King and he emailed me right after the bombings in London. If you feel like it, why don't you go ahead and take a minute and send him an email of support and comraderie from the US. Just tell him your one of the "People on the Hill" in Central Park. Send it to...
dominic.king (at-sign) bbc.co.uk
The very first song of mine I heard he was playing on the air over there was "Crazy on the Same Day". Let's show 'em it's not just fluff. I'm sure it would mean alot to him. Y'know... back in September 2001, we got hundreds of emails here at this website from all around the world. (I've saved them all on the old version of this site.)
Um, oh yeah. And listen...
The plans for this benefit concert (A concert to raise actual money and get very real help to the innocent people in Iraq whose lives are being destroyed by the war.) ...are really coming together. I'll have a lot to tell you about in the coming week or so. But, in addition to that, and in the meantime, one of the remarkable people who will hopefully be helped most by this effort... this woman...

Elissa Montanti
...could use some very practical help right now. Y'see, she brings children who've been horribly wounded here to this country for medical treatment... just to ease the suffering and make a difference for Good as much as possible. But, remember... these are children. So, there are some very practical needs. Maybe we all could help out with some of this stuff while we're trying to put together this concert project to raise operating capital for her and another organization called CIVIC. (I'll be writing more about this stuff here on the website, and talking about it a bit out in the park.) They operate out of Staten Island, NY. Global Medical Relief Fund is what she calls her organization. (But, essentially... it's her, and her assistant Ken.) Do me a favor... put these things in your mind and stay open to the ideas that pop into your head. Then, listen to your heart and act on the ideas... okay?

Just hit the "Contact" button over there and email me here at the website.
Listen I gotta run to the park right now! Maybe I'll stop in the "Forum" (message board) sometime this weekend.
You're all welcome to jump into the "Forum" and talk about whatever you want.... music, movies, Love, sex, world events... each other... whatever.
I know there are people reading this website all across the country and in different parts of the world. If you're new here, take a look around. Browse through the "Archives". Jump into the message board and say "Hi".
Oh yeah... and if you'd like to know more about Global Medical Relief Fund, there was an article recently in this People Magazine.
