Hey... thanks for stopping by today.

Today, as always, I will be posting more "News from Iraq" in the "Forum" (message board). But, you guys can go in there and write about whatever you like. People come to this site from all over the country and different parts of the world, so you can go in there and hang with them a little if you want. Y'know, music, movies, politics, Love, sex, world events... everyone's welcome.

Locally...

HOLY SMOKES!!!

What a Yankee game last night!!!

I'm watchin' the game... the Yankees are losing... 10-2 in the 4th inning. They comeback, but Tampa Bay scores and they are still down by 4 runs, 11-7 going into the 8th inning. Turn the game off, right?

No, I never do that. I figure a real fan watches the team lose as well as win. Anyway, people who leave the stadium or turn the game off when their team is down miss the greatest comebacks. Those games are the most fun to watch.

And, last night... the Yankees scored 13 runs in the eighth inning!

.

Final score: Yankees - 20 . Tampa Bay - 11

Probably would've been 21... but, the Yankees missed the extra point... (Non-sports-fans didn't get that. That's okay.)

Anyway, they even hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in that 8th inning. (You almost never see that in a lifetime.) Very cool.

Of course, a win is just a win and a loss is just a loss... a sigh is just a sigh... (Oh, wait) ... that's "Casablanca". Sorry, lost my mind for a sec. (Ah, classic movie fans got that!) But, both Boston and Baltimore won last night, too. So, New York doesn't move up in the standings. But, some games are just more fun than others. And, fun is all that really matters in sports.

Anyway, hey, still haven't heard anything about playing music in Riverside Park this coming Sunday. So, try to make a point of heading down to Pier 45 in the Village on Friday Night... and, you guys know where I will always be on a weekend. This Saturday all afternoon... right here...

... at "The Hill" in Central Park.

Listen, not really much of an update today. I had a little apartment catastrophe last night when a huge shelf fell off my wall. Crashed down and really did some damage to some stuff. (It's only stuff. I never sweat stuff. I figure we're here to use things and Love people... and, not the other way around. So, y'know, I don't love my stuff. It's just stuff.) But, I've got a bit of repair work to do today, so I'd better get started. I'm also heading up to Yankee Stadium today. So, we'll keep this short.

If you wanna know about the concert I'm planning with some good friends of mine...

...click on this link to kinda catch up.

If you have anything to say, about anything at all, go ahead and jump into the "Forum" over there.

If you're new here, take a little time and have fun looking through the "Archives".

If you wanna contact me or the webmaster, just hit the... um... "Contact" button.

I'll be back later... or tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
