Hey everybody... thanks for stopping by.

Listen this is gonna be a evry short update until later today or tomorrow morning. I have to get on a train and head out of town. Gotta show up for one of my sisters. (Yeah, I got a bunch of 'em.) Anyway, gettin' on a very early train.

Then, this evening I hafta go to some kind of book release gathering at the Hard Rock. (Seems an interview I gave a while back is in a new book. I'll tell you more about that tomorrow... Ha! As soon as I know more! I'm such a bonehead, somtimes. I don't really remember what the hell I talked about in that interview!!)

Anyway... weather permitting I'll be down on Pier 45, at the end of Christopher Street in the Village tomorrow night. (Sunset Concert Series)

And, of course, I hope to see all of you in Central Park on Saturday.

Gonna run some new songs by you. We'll have the usual smiles, laughs and singing together that we've been having out there for so many years. It's such a cool, thing I get to be a part of every weekend.

Thanks so much.

If you're new here... sorry abut the short update. Take a look through the "Archives" why doncha!

Or, stop in the "Forum" and hang with the people in there. People hit this site from all across the country and around the world. Go say "Hi".

Oh, again... here's something. Along with some good friends of mine, I'm working on putting together a very special benefit concert this winter. I'll be talking about it more as the project develops. But, if you wanna get an idea about what's going on...

...click on this link to kinda catch up.

And, if you'd like an update on the war in Iraq, you can always go to the "Forum" here on this website. I will continue to honor the sacrifices being made over there by letting you know about them.

Oh, and hey... just so you know, the Senate is trying to pass an amendment to the constitution banning the burning or desecration of the flag. Let me know what you think about that in the "Forum" (message Board) if you feel like it. I'll probably jump in there late tonight to chime in in this one. Depending on what they do... might be a song in there.

Hoo boy!

I'll be back here tomorrow. Try to check in every day, okay? Maybe I'll see you in the "Forum" a little later.

Oh, and if you just signed the email list, I'll probably be sending a message out tomorrow morning.

Thanks again.

All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
