Thanks for stopping by the site, especially if you're reading this in another part of the country or another part of the world. It's cool that you stay a part of this. We here in New York City will be in Central Park again very soon. Maybe this Saturday!

Today, I'm gonna try to answer a whole lotta emails. It's so hard. I want everyone to know... I honestly read every email I receive. It's just kind of impossible to answer every one. So, if you feel like I owe you an email reply or two, I apologize. I'll try to get to a bunch of them today.

Got up to Yankee Stadium yesterday. Caught a wild game with a new friend from "The Hill". But, the Yankees won and kept the winning streak alive. (5 in a row.) First, they gotta climb back to .500 ...and, then we can start talking about catching and passing the Red Sox and Orioles. One game at a time. (And, yesterday... probably my favorite Yankee player, Tino Martinez, hit his fifth home run in as many games.)

Baseball's just in the "toy department" of life. But, damn! I love baseball season.

Back to the music... I had an idea for a new song recently. I think I'm gonna kick that around a little bit today.

Oh, listen! This coming Saturday. A film crew will be coming out to "The Hill" in Central Park to shoot a segment of a documentrary about the park. I got several calls from them, and they wanna include "The People on the Hill". So, if you are out there this Saturday, you'll be a part of the project. Kinda cool. Just keep your fingers crossed for some good weather. I'm really itchin' to get the new season underway.

Y'know, it's been kinda weird. In the last few weeks, I've gotten calls from several different film and video projects that wanna include me and my music. It's gonna be an interesting summer.

And, just so you know... the "Sunset Concert Series" on the pier in the Village begins on Friday Night, June 10th. I'll play as the Sun goes down from 7 to 9 every Friday night through August.

Not a whole lot to talk about today. I'm a little bit all over the place. I kinda wish I had a better idea of, y'know, the next thing to do, the next step to take in my life and music and career. More will be revealed. It always is. It's beginning to feel like a long while now that, I've been just a little bit lost. I've got so much I wanna do, so much I wanna say. It's kind of a restless place to be. But, I've been here before. So, at least I know how to keep showing up... one step at a time, one day at a time, one song at a time. And, the clouds eventually part...

...in there own time.

Really can't wait to get a guitar on my shoulder and start singing the new songs I've written over the winter for "The People on the Hill" and a whole new crowd of people.

We're gonna have a lot of fun this summer... a lot of laughs.

By the way... I was watching CNN and a few of the other "news" channels this morning as I always do... to see how they stay on top of the stuff that matters. (I mean, today... and yesterday... MORE stories about that unbalanced "bride" woman in Georgia. AHHHHH! WHO GIVES A SHIT!)

.

.

(ahem)

.

.

Sorry.

Um... anyway... there were stories about the big news, of course... y'know. Did Macaulay Culkin sleep with Michael Jackson? (I can't believe I just wrote that last sentence!)

So, I am continuing to update one thread in the "Forum" (message board) with "News from Iraq"

Hey guys, whatever you're doing today... I hope you smile more than you don't. And, I hope I see you all this Saturday in Central Park.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
