Hey listen... I kow this is a music website. I know people don't come here for "news". But, before you leave you have to make sure you check in at the "Forum" (message board) for an update on the Pope's condition...

...and how it is affecting Prince Charles and Camilla's wedding, okay?

Y'know, important stuff. The stuff that the American "news" media feels this country really needs to know.

I'm a little worried, actually. I don;t mean to frighten anyone. but, do you realize that right at this moment... the entire human race is going on without ONE infallible person in charge!!!

(Don't tell any conservative Republicans I said that, though. Y'know... the Bush administration hasn't admitted a mistake, either.)

But, listen for the very latest on the Pope's condition, you can either turn on your TV or radio 24 hours a day... or, you can make sure to click on the "Forum" and read the update in there.

Okay... moving on.

I've got several new songs in the works for the concert at CAMI HALL on April 22. "Reality TV" is done. Couple of others. That's gonna be a fun night. I'm kinda hoping a bunch of cool people I met when I was in the Caribbean are gonna show up. I'm also thinkng it might feel like a good way to finally kick this winter in the ass and officially send it out the door. The tickets have begun selling, so if you feel like making absolutely sure you don't get sold out, you can just click on that button over there that says "Add to Cart" and your name will be placed on the list that they keep at the door. The night of the show, just walk up and say your name. (It's general admission seating.)

Also, I've started kicking arouund some new cover tunes by female artists... Melissa Etheridge and several others... even a song by "The Bangles". Remember them? (Although, hmmmm. I can't imagine the Pope was a big fan of Melissa Etheridge, hah. She's... um... y'know... (whisper) one of them.)

Doh! I forgot... this is not the place for Pope News. Go check out the "Forum" for that. "WELCOME TO JESUSLAND".

Anyway, in that regard... listen, if you're new here, or reading this in another part of the country or another part of the world... welcome. Take a look around. And, if you feel like it... you can download "JesusLand" for yourself right here. I would still like all of America to have this song for FREE! Give a listen, and if you feel like it, you can download it for yourself and pass it on to all your friends. Have FUN with it!

Here.

MP3 of Jesusland! Click to download or play.

Hey, and let me know what you think of this tune. If you like it, or if you are pissed off, tell me about it in the "Forum" (message board) over there on the right... and, then send it to all your friends, too!

Have fun today, all.

Thanks to a nice guy I ran into through this website, I'm gonna head up to Yankee Stadium today and, hopefully, watch the boys spank the Red Sox again. Long season. A lotta games... and, you can't win 'em all... if you don't win the first one! (I'm just hoping that the Red sox come in third behind the toronto blue Jays this year. I really kinda hope they crumble this year. So many members of that team have shown themselves to be terrible winners. Kinda classless.)

But, hey! It's just baseball! And, baseball's in the toy department of Life!

See you later. Hope in see you at CAMI HALL in about two weeks!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
