Well, when I say intimate... by God, I mean intimate!!!

We had the sweetest, little, intimate concert last night at Fourth U. Really very cool. I had a feeling it was gonna be like that. I gotta say a sincere "thank you" to the people who showed up for it. (There were about 2 people in the audience who were actually a part of Fourth U there, besides the cool people who were working the concert.) Everybody else was from this website or "The Hill" in Central Park - - like I said...

Intimate.

But, a really wonderful night for me. I got to play some new songs and some old songs. And, I absolutley love the sound in that hall. And, I don't wanna make anybody mad, but I gave nearly everyone that showed up a FREE copy of the CD "JesusLand". (The new politically satirical tune that Dodger and I recorded earlier this year.)

So, now... the next concert is at CAMI HALL on April 22. In about two and a half weeks. That one's gonna be a great night. I can feel it already.

So... hey listen, if you're new here, or reading this in another part of the country or another part of the world... welcome. Take a look around. and, if you feel like it... you can download "JesusLand" for yourself right here. I would still like all of America to have this song for FREE! Give a listen, and if you feel like it, you can download it for yourself and pass it on to all your friends. Have FUN with it!

Here.

MP3 of Jesusland! Click to download or play.

Hey, and let me know what you think of this tune. If you like it, or if you are pissed off, tell me about it in the "Forum" (message board) over there on the right... and, then send it to all your friends, too!

By the time we get to CAMI HALL, I think I'll have the new song about "Reality TV" pretty much in the can.

By the way, not for nothin', but this is Columbia Artists (CAMI) Hall, right across the street from Carnegie Hall, on West 57th Street. It's a great, old concert venue, nearly 100 years old. I hope you can grab a bunch of friends and find your way there 3 Friday nights from now. If you wanna start reserving seats, (There are only 200 seats in CAMI.) ...you can do it by just clicking on that button over there under the poster that says "Add to Cart". (Just follow the instructions, and your name will be put on this list that they keep at the door. All you gotta do that night is walk up and say your name.

Cool?

Gotta get back to work.

Maybe I'll see you in the "Forum" a little later today.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
