Okay, well... patience... patience.

Yeah, the weather is perfect.

But, the Parks Department puts a fence around "The Hill" in Central Park over the winter to care for the grass. So, I guess we're gonna hafta wait a while before we get out there and start singing again. I know alot of you are reading this in different parts of the country or another part of the world. But, believe me when I say, this is one of those perfect Spring weekends in New York City... when the breeze is cool, but you can feel the first real warmth of the Sun on the side of your face as you walk down the street. In two weeks or so, tiny green buds will pop up on the branches of the trees lining the streets and filling the parks. Tulips will soon begin pushing their way up through their dead relatives to make the world beautiful again. Women in cotton dresses and strappy shoes... everybody begins to lose the laundry and loosen up.

Ah, Spring.

Yeah... hey... join me for the SPRING CONCERT at CAMI HALL in two weeks, okay? April 22nd.

That's gonna be a fun night. And, it's a Friday night... so people can all go out afterwards if you feel like it. Or, who knows... maybe we'll get out to the park that weekend, too. Be kinda cool if it worked out that way. Imagine, you hang out at the concert, and then show up at the park the next day and everybody you sang with the night before is hangin' out on blankets on "The Hill".

Anyway, listen... if you wanna reserve a spot at CAMI HALL for that concert you can do it right now by clicking on that button over there on the right, under the poster that says "Add to Cart". I spoke with "Dodger" and he said he'd love to sit in that night. (It's always more fun for me when Roger Bartlett is on the Stage.)

Here are some of the songs I know we're gonna do that night...

Crazy on the Same Day
The People on the Hill
JesusLand
One Word
Wedding in Danville
Lost on Bleecker Street
Where'dat Money Go?

Lots and lots more... you know how those nights go. Tell a few stories. Have a lotta laughs. Make it up as we go along. Please make plans with your friends to make it to that show.

Got a few new songs to play for you guys!

Listen, I gotta get out there and take in this day. I'm kickin' around a new song that an old friend of mine wrote. He wants me to record it. It's kind of along the same theme as my tune, "Where's the Voice"... but, it's got a different, more melancholy feel to it. So I thought, what the hell. Maybe I'll take a run at it and see what evolves.

Maybe I'll stop into the "Forum" (message board) later to see what's goin' on in there. But, maybe I'll see you out on the streets of New York City today... and, in Central Park very soon.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
