James here. Again. I swear it snowed here. It is March 23 and we have 6 inches of snow right outside my house. And David is still in Turks and Caicos. Today, the weather reached a high of 86.
And now, a word from our sponsor...

There will be no politics discussed this week.
Lyrics. More of them. This time not David's. I guess I was not specific the other day when I asked what your favorites are. I meant you should post them in the Forum. So many of you emailed them to me. (Hint, there is probably no need to type David's lyrics, I've done that already for you. They are in the "Songs" section.)
From The Byrds' Turn! Turn! Turn!:
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late
From George Michael's Father Figure:
So when you remember the ones who have lied
Who said that they cared
But then laughed as you cried
Beautiful darling, don't think of me
But, how about these lyrics? Do you know them (without Googling!)
We've been through this such a long long time
Just tryin' to kill the pain
But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today
The best and worst thing about music is that you just can't know all the greats. One recommendation that I have for you, if you are a fan of David's style of music, is to check out the songs from the musical The Last Five Years.
From Jason Robert Brown's show, The Last Five Years. The Next Ten Minutes:
Will you share your life with me,
For the next 10 minutes
For the next 10 minutes
We can handle that
We could watch the waves
We could watch the sky
Or just sit and wait
As the time ticks by
And if we make it till then
Can I ask you again for another 10?
And if you in turn agree
To the next 10 minutes
And the next 10 minutes
Till the morning comes
Then just holding you
Might compel me to
Ask you for more...
There are so many lives I want to share with you
I will never be complete until I do.
Trivia about this song -- In the musical, Jamie is proposing to Cathy in a boat, on the lake in Central Park. Right behind where David sings...
Stay dry and warm. I hope to hear from you all soon.
