This weekend... yeah, Sunday evening.

I'm gonna be over at Fourth U. for kind of an intimate concert. I'm thinking, maybe, I'll go over there today and talk to them about doing something in the round. Y'know, kind of an "MTV's unplugged" setup. Anyway, it's only $10 and the doors open at 7:00. I'll crank up around 7:30. (Fourth U is on the corner of 76th and Central Park West.)

Today... just kickin' a couple of new lyrics around. I'm kind of wandering aimlessly in my head and my heart. Don't really know where I'm going or what happens next. Something very exciting about that. Wondering what's next, moment to moment, day to day. But, the flip-side of that tune is always "a little scary". (I just hafta keep making sure I play the wonder and the excitment side.)

Not much else going on today. I've been keeping the television off a lot of the time since I got back from the islands. Watched a little CSPAN and, of course, "The Daily Show". No comment on that "big" story in the news today, other than to say once again I'm a little saddened and disgusted by both our news media and politicians. What a bunch of phonies and sanctimonious demagogues.

But, y'know... it's such a beautiful day here in New York City. I'm really gonna take it in.

Maybe I'll update this page again a little later.
