Hey! Thanks for stopping by today.

Dodger and I are gonna play on the Eastside tonight. There's a place on 1st Avenue at 73 Street called Sessions 73. We'll crank up around 8:00. If you're not doin' anything else, stop over. We're gonna have some fun.

Also... make a point to stop by this website tomorrow morning!

The brand new song, "JesusLand" is finally finished, and James (webmaster) will be making it available for all of you guys here at thatguitarman.com. I'm gonna be interested in hearing your reactions to the song. As I say when I play it "live", it's a song that's easy to take the wrong way. I'm kinda countin' on it. (wink) Cuz listen, I have a little plan for this song. If you'd like to be a part of that plan, email me through the contact button over there. (ssshhhh)

We're gonna have some fun!

As always, if you're reading this in another part of the country, or another part of the world... welcome. Take a look around the site. Jump into the "Forum" over there and get to know some of the regulars around here. But, if you live in or around New York City, try to make plans with your friends to come to the next big concert on March 4th. (I'll get into that later.)

Okay... so...

.

Well, lots of songs to write. Lots of music to play. Lots of laughs to be had.

State of the Union speech last night.

I really have nothing to say about that. Ha! I mean, what is there to say? Y'know, there's an old saying, "Only a fool takes up a fool's argument." I feel it might also be true that "only an idiot would wait for a genuine thought to come out of a complete phony." (His speech writers are the only force on earth that keep him from embarrassing all of us with his command of the English language, anyway. Gee... I hope he buys them lunch... every day.)

So, I watched and listened... but, y'know... that's really only to stay informed.

Hey, as I mentioned... the next big indoor concert is gonna be on March 4th, at Columbia Artists Management (CAMI) Hall. That concert is already selling. You can get your tickets by clicking on that button right over there... the button that says "Buy Now". It's gonna be a very special night. I'll let you know more about it as it gets closer. But, there are only 170 seats in that venue, so don't wait too long, okay?

I'm gonna be heading out of the country for a gig down in the Islands next week. So, James is gonna be taking over the updates here at the website. I hope you guys keep checking back in every day, and showing up in the "Forum" while I'm gone. I'll be back on February 12th.

Maybe I'll see you in the "Forum" a little later on today.

Hope I see you at "Sessions 73" tonight.

Thanks for everyting.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
