Okay... here we go... we're back.

Thanks for stopping by today.

James has got the website up and running again. ROCK N ROLL!!!

I'm so psyched about all the cool stuff that's comin' up. Today, I'm heading to Roger's studio to lay down a few tracks for a new song. I mean, right now I'm working on a couple of brand new songs. The Creative flood gates are open again. It feels great.

Definitely gonna be playing a few new songs and all the old tunes you guys dig at the next concert of the indoor season. (This show, March 4th, is gonna be something special, I think.)

Did you miss the concert last December at Merkin Concert Hall?

Were you at that December show?

Well, listen... either way. This next show is gonna be at Columbia Artists Management Hall (CAMI HALL) on West 57th Street, on March 4th. THAT'S A FRIDAY NIGHT!!! (Cool.)

Just so you know, Merkin Hall held 450 people, but this new venue is a bit more intimate. That is to say... um... it's smaller... it only seats around 170. So, if you want, you can tickets right now! TODAY! We're gonna have a blast. We always do.

Just click on that button that says "BUY NOW" over there on the right and follow the instructions. Your name will automatically be put on the "Guest list" for the concert. The night of the show, all you hafta do is walk up to the door and give them your name.

Cool?

(I've heard that the tickets are already selling. And, I've seen in the "Forum" that we've even got cool people coming over from as far away as Germany and maybe up from Carolina for this one.)

Listen, if you're reading this in another part of the country, or another part of the world... welcome. Take a look around the site. We'll be importing the "Archives" from the last year or so very soon, so that you can go back and check out what we've been up to around here. Last year was a sincerely wild year.

But, if you're in or around New York City, try to make plans with your friends to come to the concert on March 4th. (We may add another show if this one sells out early. But, that's a little uncertain. So, try to get tickets soon, okay?)

So...

Well...

Today, I'm also putting together a set list for another big gig I got comin' up this week. But, it's a private thing. It's really gonna help on Thursday to have a 3pm load-in for an 8pm gig at the Hilton. I'll get to keep my mind occupied with music on a day (Inauguration Day) that, as far as I'm concerned, is gonna be as embarrassing for this country as ANY day in our history.

I mean, reeeealllly embarrassing.

Listen, I'm not screwin' around. I'm gonna keep writing songs about Love, and Life, and commonality, and sex, and fun, and all kinds of stuff. But, I've come to the realization that politicians live downstream from culture, and NOT the other way around. So, as always, I'm gonna be writing more songs that try tell the truth. And, and, and...

... oh, what the hell.

I'm gonna have a whole lot of fun this year. You're welcome to join me. The wonderful artists I'm fortunate enough to work with, and all my good friends and loved ones... we're gonna smile more than we don't, we're gonna laugh as much as we sing... we're gonna be there for each other, like always. Damn! Life is an intersting adventure! But,I'm not gonna be quiet about the things I feel are important. It makes me feel good. It can be a real "feel good" and fun thing for you guys, too.

I hope there's room for a nice guy to sing about the stuff that's going on in Washington and around the country. If not... um... well... guess I'll be doing it, anyway.

Hey, hope I see more and more of you in the "Forum" speaking up about things. If you read something here that pisses you off, speak up. If read something here that makes you nod your head and smile, speak up. If you read something here that makes you laugh... well... yeah... go ahead... speak up.

See you in the "Forum".

Hope I see you on March 4th at CAMI HALL.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
