Well, this is pretty swell.

We got another mention in an article in the New York Times today! (This is really gettin' kinda cool.) I'm startin' to feel like a landmark... like Bethesda Fountain or the Band Shell. Y'know...

"Where is that?"

"Oh, it's near That Guitar Man."

The article is in the Arts Section. Gun-Toting Sea Lions and Other Park Tales by Ralph Blumenthal

(Thanks for the mention, Mr. Blumenthal!)

Anyway, listen, whatever you're plans are this weekend, I hope the weather doesn't ruin 'em for you. If you decide to stay in town, maybe we'll catch a break Sunday in the park.

I also think I'm gonna do something pretty swell on Monday evening, at a place called The Red Lion on... du-du-du-duuuhhhhhh... Bleecker Street.

I'll let you know more about that in a little while.

Talk to you later.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
