HISTORIC NEWS (for me).
After 11 years of trying... I received the first batch of permits from the Special Events Department of Central Park in the mail. Now, I've just gotta go over to the NYPD and get those permits and we're... um... legal.
Ha!
(wow)
Thanks guys... this wouldn't have happened without all your kindness and support.
Really... thanks.
And, thanks to those of you who showed up last night at the SoHo Playhouse and took part in that little musical experiment. It needs work. But, I'm gonna do something along those lines, even out on "The Hill". (I'm just afraid that particular song that I wrote... kinda sucks.)
Listen... it feels like I've got a decision to make in the next week or so. I'm beginning to think about pulling the plug on the show down there at the Playhouse. Maybe we'll do a big closing night kinda thing. Maybe we'll keep it going for a while longer. Maybe we'll take a break for the summer. I don't know. Like I said, I'm just thinking about it.
If you haven't been down there, yet... and, you wanna check it out, y'know, hear the story of how the whole thing got started... maybe you should think about coming down there soon.
Otherwise... I'll see you in the park.
Thanks again.
