Well... Sid Bernstein and I were invited to a songwriter's meeting/radio-show last night by a woman from "The Hill" named Pat and her friend Ann Ruckert. Turned out to be a very interesting thing to do, with a very disparate group of songwriters sharing the stuff they're working on. It's the kinda thing that jazzes me up a bit.

Anyway, it was kinda cool. Sid, of course is such a trip! No matter what the musical question was, it didn't take him but a few moments to have the entire room of people asking him where the best pizza is, or the best chocolate eclairs, or whatever. It's hysterical to watch. He does it EVERY time I'm with him. People wanna ask him about John Lennon, and he launches into a story about Lennon's love for Italian food. Then, it's off to the races again. It's very cool to watch.

Anyway... two things...

First... it looks like the weather is gonna be great this Sunday. So, I hope I see you in the park again.

And... this coming Tuesday is gonna be something very cool at the SoHo Playhouse. I'll be e-mailing some of you individually about it. I just wanna let everybody else know that, if you haven't been there yet, this coming Tuesday would be a good one to come down and hang out.

Hey listen... thanks for the donations to make this year on "The Hill" the first one where we are official. They are gonna help. I'm gonna try to get all the permits this week. By the way, James moved the button for the donations, and added the PayPal System. (Both buttons are right there on the right, if you wanna help out and throw in a few bucks.)

Thanks again...

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
