Well... long cold winter is over, I guess. Spring is finally here. Almost Central Park "Hill" time. I hope we get to have another summer out there. Y'never know, though. Nothing in this life is certain... except change.
Keep checking back on this website about this summer on "The Hill". I actually got call from someone at the Parks Department, for a meeting with them next week. (AHHHHHHH!!!) And, I'm just praying that everything goes smoothly this year and there are no problems with me doing what I do. This summer, especially, I think we really need to be out there. I hope they're not planning to stop it. I hope they've finally embraced what a good thing we do out there.
We'll see.
Thank you... again...
...to everyone who showed up last Tuesday night at The Playhouse. It felt like another night of artistic growth for me. (I know that sounds a little weird when someone's been doing what I do for as long as I have. But, it's true.)
Y'know, everytime I strap a guitar on my shoulder, it's a little different. The people I'm playing for are a little different, the world is a little different... I'm a little different. Sometimes the differences are so miniscule that everything looks and feels the same. They're always there. But, last night was different in a tangible way for me. I didn't really realize it until this moring.
It's good to grow.
Hope you guys are all enjoying today. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the park soon or down at The Playhouse next Tuesday night.
Thanks again.
