Hey... how're you doin' today!?
I'm feelin' better, thank you.
Well, there goes February. My mother always told me never to wish my life away, and she was right. But, I have to admit... I'm not sorry to see this month go. Welcome March... a one day headstart, and here we go. I know there are people reading this all over the world but, here in New York, March is a green-bud, crisp, muddy month by the end of it. Usually sometime in March we get that one day when we walk outside and say, Ahhhhh... spring." (Then it usually gets a little cold again... but, that first 'sniff' happens in March.)
I was wondering something about February, though.
Three years in a row, February had 28 days. The fourth year, it has 29. But, that's the year we call "Leap" year. Isn't that backwards?
I mean, don't we leap over the 29th for three years and then land on it in the fourth year? Shouldn't that be called "Wait, Don't Leap This Time" year? (Chime in in the Forum if you wanna call me an idiot. This has probably occurred to fifth graders for years.)
Anyway, glad March is almost here.
Hope I see you at The SoHo Playhouse this comng Tuesday.
Thanks for everything guys
