Got big plans for Super Bowl Sunday?
Me neither.
Never thought I'd say this in my lifetime, though. But, here goes...
GO RAIDERS!
(Ooh, that was uncomfortable.)
But, I just gotta go for the old guys. Gannon, Rice... gotta go for the old guys. (And, I would root against Heaven's Football Team if Keyshawn Johnson played for them.)
Just for fun and to break up the Winter... do three things. First, make plans this weekend to get down to The SoHo Playhouse this Tuesday night or the American Express Building on Monday night or BOTH... no matter how cold it is. Look, it's warm in both those places. If you can't make it to one... make it to the other... or come to both. The Amex gig on Monday is in the lobby of the building at the Rewarding Lives Exhibit (which is worth seeing anyway!) and it's free. Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine and some food and pretend you're out on "The Hill". It kicks off at 6:30.
Then, make sure you and your friends are a part of those really special nights that are starting up at The SoHo Playhouse on Tuesday.
And then, find someone with a cable modem or DSL, if you don't have one, and check out the very first installment of "David Radio" over there on the right. James has done another amazing thing. He really is riding the crest of the wave that is the future of the music business and the future for truly, independent artists like me.
Go to the button over there on the right underneath the "Weather in Central Park"... the one that says "David Radio". Click on the link, and then just hang out with me for an hour or so. It is our very own internet-radio broadcast. It might be a little rough around the edges this week, but next week it will be a four hour, continuous broadcast with interviews, (Hopefully with Sid Bernstein and David Friedman and James Marino and David Abramowitz and Roger Bartlett and others) ...and a whole lotta music.... stuff you've heard, stuff you've NEVER heard, and lost tracks. (Things you heard but you never thought you'd hear again.)
It's very cool.
E-mail us and let us know what you think.
And, make plans to come down to the SoHo Playhouse this coming Tuesday. Really, don't miss out on what's going on down there this winter.
