Sorry I missed the update yesterday. I was on the road again.

Hey... see you next week, I hope. I'm getting together with Roger on Sunday, and David Friedman on Monday, and Cenovia (the violinist) on Wednesday. And, then we're getting up on the stage at Merkin Hall on Thursday to see what happens. I think the concert Thursday night is gonna be a perfect way to kick off a holiday weekend. Why doncha take the day off next Friday. Make it a long weekend and make the show at Merkin the way to kick it off. Get a couple of friends and go out before or after the show.

I just got an e-mail from a woman who told me that she and her friends got their seats in the balcony because that's where all the "fun people" sit. She said she actually got her tickets a couple of months ago, but specifically asked for the balcony. I think that's so cool. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, the whole place is filled with fun people. I just think it's cool that a bunch of friends have a preference like that. They said they say up there at the last 2 shows.

Listen, I know there are still seats in the orchestra if the balcony is not your bag. But, there are plenty of seats up there, too, if you wanna hang out with the "fun people".
