Okay... December... Christmas Shopping...
AHHHHHHHH!
Haven't been able to get into the whole head of it, yet... the whole gift shopping mode. Just haven't had a chance. Gonna hafta click into gear this week, though. Along with everything else that's going on. Finally making that move back to the Upper Westside on Tuesday. I may be out of touch with this website for a day or two during the move. I might ask the home office to write a little something on Monday and Tuesday. Probably send out an e-mail this week to let you know if any more Merkin tickets are gonna be released this week. I know, right now, there are still seats in the orchestra and really good seats in the balcony.
By the way... Jim sent Neal a bunch of 11x17" color posters for the MerkinConcert and we're lookin' for places to hang 'em.... y'know, shop windows, diners, coffee shops, deli's, cleaners, wherever. If you have a favorite couple of places that you think will hang these posters, could you give us a shout and Neal will messenger or mail a few over to you wherever you are. Maybe we can get a bunch up this week. Let us know at : thatguitarman2@cs.com ...okay?
It's the end of Thanksgiving weekend, 2002... so, I thought this next thing deserved to stay up here one more day, at least:
I am surrounded by the greatest people. I got upstate this weekend because James Marino let be use his car... again. I've got rehearsal with the entire band this week because Roger arranged it... again. Jim Hedleston and Teresa printed up a bunch of posters for the concert... again. George Gorgano designed those cool posters... again.... with amazing photography that Robbie Pope is responsible for... again. Neal Miranda is all over the place, inviting people to the concert and getting merchandise like T-sirts and hats and Kudos granola bars... really for the first time. We were contacted by David Marcus about fixing our e-mail situation and I think he's gonna try to set something up for us... again. Y'know, the list goes on and on. Susan Kurtz has helped the band in the most practical and tangible way. David Abramowitz, who helped start the whole damn thing with this website and the first CDs is always willing to show up for the music... again. And, don't even get me started about the musicians I'm lucky enough to be sharing a stage with again this year... Dodger, Nelson, Frank, Jeff, Joyce, Gloria, David...
It's just a good time to say "Thanks"... again... right?
