Sorry I missed the update again yesterday. Got called outta town kinda unexpected-like.

So... another Thanksgiving weekend. I'm gonna look at the TV section and see if all the traditional TV specials are on. I hope they are. This year, I don't know, I'm just in the mood to see "March of the Wooden Soldiers" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" and all the rest. I don't know about you, but "March of the Wooden Soldiers" still connects my belly directly with my childhood. (Although, now that I'm older I can see that the actor who played Tom-Tom would probably be more interested in Barnaby than Bo Peep.) Still, who cared about Tom Tom anyway. It was all about Stan and Ollie and the Wooden Soldiers.

Do you believe it? The Merkin Hall Concert is only 3 weeks away. That means Christmas is only 4 weeks away and there's only 5 weeks left in 2002. (I'm a kind of a math wizard.) Neil told me the T-shirts are ready out in Seattle, so they'll definitely be here by show-day. I'm tellin' you, great last minute holiday gifts. He's got "Crazy on the Same Day" baseball caps comin', too.

I think you guys are really gonna have a grerat time with the music we're doin' this year. I mean, I'm still gonna make it up as we go along like we always do. But, the things that I've got sketched out with band are kickin'! Really. It's gonna be fun.

Well, thanks again. If you're gettin' out of town... GIT!

(But, be nice on the road. Just cruise, okay? Let the other guys be jerks this year. You just be cool.)

Talk to you tomorrrow.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
