Hi… I’ll see you guys out in the park at then usual time… around 12:30.
Oh, wait.
40º… and the New York City Marathon.
Never mind.
Good luck to everyone who’s running in the race. I’m with you in spirit. (I ran a marathon years ago and did very, very well.) but, now I think the next marathon I participate in will be the “Dozing Marathon”. Instead of running 26.2 miles, you hafta sleep for 26.2 hours. I’m gonna start training this winter, just dozing a little everyday. Then, I’ll work my way up to mid-distance sleeping… y’know, between 8 and 10 hours a day. When I feel like I’m ready, I’ll probably try to get in a couple of training sessions of 18 to 20 hours about a month before the marathon. Then, I think I’ll have a chance to finish the whole 26.2 hours without stopping.
Anyway, back to the music…
This week, I’m gonna try to get together with Joyce and Gloria to work out some new vocal arrangements for the concert in December, I’m looking forward to that. Also spoke with David Friedman this week and he’s psyched to show up again this year.
Listen, thanks for everything. Talk to you later.
