New day...
Gonna be talkin' to "Dodger" today about getting the band and the girls together for a little rehearsal. I also just recorded a rough demo of a new song I'd been working on. I'll run it past you guys on "The Hill" on Sunday if the weather cooperates.
Listen, I understand that not everybody got last week's e-mail. It's kind of a nightmare the way we're still sending them out. And, Jo told me that ALL of the "hotmail" addresses came back unsent. She's re-sending those sometime today. Or, maybe we'll just send another one out tomorrow. I don't know. But, hopefully this will all be worked out sooner than later.
Oh... also, (this is kinda cool.) ...Neal has been trying to chase down some companies who's products we use to help out with the cost of doing some of these shows. He got his first positive response from Elixir, the brand of guitar strings I use. They said they would supply me and the boys with strings for, like, a year! That is sooooooo cool. I think Kudos Granola Bars and Poland Spring Water and Duracell Batteries oughta be next. Think so!?
Oh yeah... and one more thing... a question...
Is there anybody out there rerading this that has connections, or could get to people in the local media, to get the word out about some of this winter stuff? Y'know... local radio or newspapers or even local news television. Give us a shout if you think there someone who'd like to do a story on the stuff we're doing with the music in the park and over the net.
Be creative...
Thanks for everything. Talk to you later.
