Hey...

Well, it's a grey, autumn day here in New York City. Got my fingers crossed for the weekend, though. Got a feeling we're gonna have a nice day for singing on Sunday. I'm still coming down from that concert at The Garden the other night. (see: Archive) I'm gonna call Roger today and set up a rehearsal for me and the guys next week. I think one more with the boys, and then we'll start bringing the girls in.

One thing I didn't mention yesterday. Neal tried to get a copy of my song "Thrrough My Nose" to James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet and John Mellemcamp on Tuesday night. He made a phone call and got us as far as backstage, but the CDs had to be dropped in the dressing rooms by someone else. I know it's a long shot, but it would be funny to think about their reactions to that song if they ever got to listen to it. I'd hope they'd get a kick out of it.

Anyway... again... take a look around this new site. Sign up on the mailing list if you want. Start a topic in the "Forum". Listen to some of the songs. Sign up on the maling list here if you haven't in the park, so I can let you know about the stuff we're gonna do over the winter. (And, if you run into a couple of mistakes on this site, let us know where they are. I mean, we're aware that there are a few errors here and there in the song credits and stuff like that. But, this is a massive project that James is doing while he does about a milliion other things.)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
