What a day...

I'm heading to Central Park to do what I do... and, today I wanna just play the songs for the sake of the songs. Y'know, and also pull up some old songs that I haven't played in a very, long time. I wanna share one new one with you that I'm just writing. It hasn't really finished writing itself, yet. But, I think you guys can hear it "so far". Then, I wanna dig up some old southern rock n' roll, some old Beatles, some old Billy Joel, a lot of James Taylor... and, I think I wanna play a lot of my own songs today.

Some years, we barely make it 'til just after Labor Day. Some years, we get all the way to November. But, a day like today... this late in September... is SUCH a gift.

Listen, Jo got the e-mail anouncement out last night the old-fashioned way... a couple of hundred at a time. So, by now, most of you should know that the December tickets will be on sale as of tomorrow. I know it's early but, if you want 'em, they're at the Merkin box office. (212) 501-3330

Also, James has the "Forum" section open. So, if you're from another part of the country, or the world (or, even over on the East Side) you can keep in touch and hang out with "The People on the Hill" in New York City.
