Another beautiful September day...

God, I love this city.

I think... I think the message boards are up and running. (The "Forum" Section) So, you all can talk about things that are on your mind.... music, movies, current events, family, friends, pets, Keanu Reeves... (just kidding about Keanu Reeves. Please don't discuss Keanu Reeves.) Go ahead. Try it out.

Anyway, I'm gonna be getting together with the boys in the band this afternoon. First time in a long time that Roger and Nelson and I are gonna be playing music together. I thought we might be gigging together a little bit more this summer, y'know, with the new album and all. But, there have been so many changes goin' on that the summer just got away from me. Plus, Mike Braun... the drummer who appears on "Crazy on the Same Day", the guy you all met at the March concert ...moved to Seattle. So, we're gonna play with a guy named Frank Vilardi today and see if he has fun doing this stuff with us. If it works out, he'll get the nod for the December 19th show at Merkin.

I also may have some news next week about a steady, weekly or bi-weekly thing that I may do over the winter with the band. I'll keep you posted on that one. I have a meeting with a guy on Monday to discuss some possibilities.
